Out of all the Starbucks on Maui, this one is the WORST at making drinks. Every drink I have ever gotten from here in the past few months has been so underwhelming and gross. The incompetence is astounding.

I'd like to preface my review by saying I didn't have an issue with my drink. If you're looking for a latte or a specialty holiday drink, this location is fine- that's why I gave it the two stars. But if you're looking for humanity, I wouldn't recommend this place as much. The customer service was superficially nice, but I happened to overhear a conversation between the employees talking ill of a coworker which made the coffee in my mouth taste bitter. I won't repeat anything, but it was nasty. If the employees here would talk bad about a coworker when she's standing 2 feet away, I can't imagine what they're saying about the customers, too. Again, coffee was fine. Nothing to write home about. Just genuinely curious why the employees were acting so catty at 10:30 in the morning.

Drive thru staff needs to learn great customer service. Thanked the barista and her response was: 'yup'. I expect a 'you're welcome, have a good day'. My drink was made perfect.
Today is 6/14/23 I went to get my usual drinks and foods, for some reason there must have been a new girl at the window taking orders. I drive up to the speaker and she say's can I take your order? I proceed to give her my order she then stops and say hold on and cuts me off. So, I asked my passenger didn't she say can I take your order? my passenger said yes. So, she comes back on for the second time and says can I take your order? And I start to order my drinks and she again say hold on with a loud voice!!!! and cuts me off again, then the third time need I remind you I was patient till the third time. She again says may I take your order? Again, I start to order she again says hold on cuts me off again. That was it when she came back forth time, I said f---k this I will order at the window and then she says I was helping other customers. I then asked her did you get any of the orders I repeated three times? She said NO! ok gave her my order. Pull up to the window supervisor asked what happen? Before I could explain he said I don't appreciate you treating my employees that way. I then said ho hold up me I am treating your employees wrong. Check yourself and ask me what happened first? I have a witness in the car who heard everything. I asked to speak to the manager and supervisor said his in a meeting. I told the supervisor I will wait. he kept saying his unavailable. Supervisor then goes and calls the manager who was very professional and took the time to listen. Manager was awesome I told him when you have a customer who comes here every morning eight years and never had a problem in all those years? whose word should you take not your employee your customers.

Stay away as usual for any Starbucks that coffee is not drinkable. We actually had to throw it in the trash instead of drinking it. Well instead try basically any other coffee.
