Small dive bar with the Best view of Kona and the Ocean! We were here for my friends wedding. 10 days we stayed, and you bet, we came here about 6 times! Great beer selection. Bartender made really good Mai Tai's and coconut cream based beverages. The only thing is that they don't love big groups of people. My partner and I came many times by ourselves and it was great. But one night we came in with a group of 12.eeeeek!! . There's usually just one person manning the bar and the food, which is just wings. So I can understand how big groups should kind of stray from this awesome dive bar. But other than that. I love this hole in the wall of Kona.

Fun touristy dive bar with good views of the ocean. Small seating selection, so if you have a big party you may need to be strategic about timing.

Ironically this lace is great for kids. We left ours at the bottom patio with the lizards as babysitters. Then we headed up to the bar and had some drinks and convo with the locals. Very cool place, free popcorn for the kids. The lizards were amazing, I cannot capture how much fun the kids had. Probably a highlight of their trip and ours.Definitely a gem!

Fun chill spot to enjoy and good priced cocktail. It reminds me of an island dive bar with stunning Ocean views. The staff is quirky and funny. The decor is out there, making the spot fun. We stopped here twice during our week long stay enjoying misc beers and mock tails. I ordered the chili garlic wings one day, which made for decent bar food. Must visit while in Kailua

A random stop for a drink walking back to the cruise ship, turned into a few hours hanging out with some drinks and wings.Cole was running the show solo, but he was on the ball the whole time. Between bartending, making the food (wings or hotdogs) and shooting the breeze he made it look like child's play.If you're going to try the wings we'd recommend the Monkey Lotion sauce. It's a blend of two of the flavours and it's delicious. We loved the Tangelo Cider...it was crisp, fruity, and most importantly.... refreshing. The fresh popcorn at the end made the stop that much better ?I'd definitely recommend Da Shark Shack if you're visiting this side of the island. You won't be disappointed. Reminds me of the drinks only pubs in Ireland...but warmer lolCheers

Came for a quick drink and some snacks. Has amazing views of the water. Sit by the high top seating by the road and you'll have great views of the ocean. Great views at sunset! Too bad it was also a bit cloudy. Oh and if you're not a fan of reptiles, beware they do put out maraschino cherries for these friendly green lizards to eat! They are super cute and their colors are beautiful. I enjoyed their company. Nathaniel was super nice and chill. Gave us the recommendation for the mai tai and the wings with the Hawaiian chili and garlic sauce. Super delicious. Mai tai also not super sweet and tasty! Recommend stopping by!

I like wings and cocktails and this place had both! Add an ocean view and popcorn that you can help yourself to while there and how can you go wrong? This spot is small so you may have to take whatever seats are available, but it definitely served it's purpose and I enjoyed the wings way more than the ones we had on our cruise ship (which we could see out in the water while dining here). The other option was hot dogs, and well I have no idea how those are because I'd never choose those over wings. We tried 3 flavors and I was pleasantly surprised and happy with our choices. Service was pretty good as well, aside from perhaps the little attitude we got when someone tried to walk in with a can of hard seltzer, but hey thanks for announcing that having that in public was illegal and of course you want everyone to buy alcohol from you rather than walking in with their own, but hey no stars being removed for that. I mean, the sign out front did tell us to come in if we were feeling tipsy, and we listened! ;)Were they the best wings I've ever had? No. But were they good? Would I eat them again? Yes, I absolutely would! They were not breaded so that's always a win in my book! The only flavor of wings we didn't try was the Mama's Garlic & Butter. Honestly, we didn't order them because a customer at the next seat told us they weren't great, but that was actually my last choice anyway so she just helped me know I was making the right decision in choosing the other 3 flavors to order. Great little spot, I enjoyed it. Aside from not knowing I needed to ask for a key to use the restroom out down the walkway behind the restaurant, I had no other issues and that would have been simple enough, had I known and not just thought the door was unlocked and someone was taking a mighty long time in there, LOL.

Come for da drinks because they are so well done. Spot is great for people watching at anytime, but the sunsets are the star. Love that it has this local bar feeling.

Stopped for a few drinks our first night here. Drinks were great but we felt a bit ignored by the bartender when we first sat down. Craig turned the experience around after chatting with him for awhile. One thing to note:They stop serving food around 8pm so ignore the sign that says kitchens open.

Great place with great drinks and great people. Our server was friendly and fun, she had us run across the street try to catch a picture of us getting splashes by a wave so they could ring the bell! My pina colada was refreshing and tasty, and the cute little geckos were having a good time with us too. The vibes were great.

No nonsense bar with great spicy wings and friendly service. Amazing view. Still have to come back for the cocktails and hot dog.Edit: didn't have the hot dog but cocktails were tasty
