Burgers the night we got to Kona! Sorry, but there are a lot of homeless that live across the street so the view wasn't great. They do validate

Alright, here's the deal. You're on vacation looking for something to do and you see a sign. A whale of a sigh that reads, "Humpy's Alehouse"Literally, how can you NOT stop by?These guys have got their marketing downIt's everything you would expect it to be. Stop in and make some memories.

The food was good and the portions were not oversized. The service was also good all the staff that talked to us were nice and helpful.Kid-friendliness: The server was very nice and played with our youngest a bit. The kids menu had the usual fare and what we ordered tasted good.

This review is not for Happy Hour. Humpy's has happy hour and it is a great place for that. You can see whales, dolphins, etc. out the front of the bar. This review is about their sandwiches and.I assume equally good pizza. Every day at lunch they have these phenomenal sandwiches made with fresh pizza dough for the bread. We like the Italian one so much that we haven't even tried a different one. The only problem is that there is no overlap between happy hour and sandwich hour. We have been given different reasons - there's only one guy who makes them and he only works lunch, the pizza oven is too busy (doing what I don't know) during dinner, the dishes take too long to make during peak hours. Don't miss this, though. It's worth paying an extra dollar for your beer to get this sandwich.

Went for lunch sat the bar had an adult beverage, the bartender suggested the wings which I got and they were delicious. You get 6 with carrots and celery and dressing. Good service nice view of the ocean

We ordered pupu's last night. Sashimi and pokey. Neither dish was a cut of ahi fit to be called sashimi. I should have stuck to the ahi sandwich.

Sad to say this was the worst meal of our whole trip. Do not come here for breakfast. Go somewhere that’s not a worn down tourist trap. The view is not worth it. Even the fresh papaya was gross (and clearly not fresh at all).

We sat down at a table that hadn’t been cleared. The servers first words to my group were “so do you guys not read, or just not follow directions?” Apparently there is a sign somewhere that says to sit at any available clean table (which I hadn’t seen). He came back to share how it was “okay… just makes my job harder” as we helped him clear the cups from the table. Absolutely unacceptable way to start any customer service interaction. The rest of the place was fine, he forgot some of our order but everything else was forgettable.

We have these in Alaska. We expected the same service and food. The food was tasty but if you need condiments, it may not happen. The service deserves a zero! You seat yourself. We waited to be served longer than needed. The young lady that finally waited on us was not friendly. She took our order and literally disappeared. The young man that brought our food was nice and helped as much as he could. There were at least four tables waiting to pay as our waitress was MIA. The young man reappeared to help us out.My advice to the restaurant, seat everyone on the same level. If you’re short on good help, at least your guests will get acknowledged. As a guest, I’d advise to sit near the bar. You’ll get waited on there. The views are great. The ambience of this place is great. The food was tasty. We had the eggs Benedict and the omelette. I was thankful for gluten free options. It’s really the service that was bad.

The view was absolutely amazing…we were able to get a table with water view (bench), the food was delicious-I had the teriyaki beef w/rice and Mac salad. For a drink I had the blue Hawaii alcohol beverage (the fresh coconut water made this drink taste extra good), this drink went well with my food. Must try if you are in Kona!Food price is reasonable ?.-Ashley from Gilbert, AZ

Food was subpar, waitress was extremely rude and forgot our drinks. We are a party of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids) and were charged the surcharge of 18% for a large party! Last time I checked large parties are 8 or more. Will not go back! Kona brew house is the way to go! Don't waste your time here.
