A nice spot for happy hour with an outstanding view. Food was fairly tasty but nothing special. Mai Tai was nice, and service was super friendly.The breathtaking view is what truly makes this place stand out! We enjoyed our visit and definitely recommend it for a relaxed waterfront happy hour.Vegetarian options: Plentiful vegetarian options.

Nice place for a quick and casual lunch. Loved the katsu style fried calamari! I had the pork sandwich and my wife had the mahi mahi sandwich. Both were nothing special but had good flavor and most importantly cooked perfectly.

We were quite disappointed with the service and food. Our server didn’t even acknowledge us or bring menus or water for over 5 minutes even after we asked where the bathroom was and he walked by us several times. The place was not busy at all. We had to ask for napkins and silverware. He clearly was more interested in what was on his phone than his customers. I’m pretty understanding when it comes to servers, but he was horrible.The nachos were awful and he forgot to add the beef we asked for, although he did apologize about that. Everything tasted canned and jarred and the beans were at the bottom, buried by the chips so chips almost gone by the time we “found” them.The sliders were pretty good.The view is the only reason it got 2 stars. We will not be back. Plenty of other places that I’m sure provide better service and food that have a great view.

Amazing lunch watching the ocean from under shade. Had the chicken salad which was incredible and different from anything I have had before. Served in a half papaya with toasted coconut….yummy. Server was solid. Great view and location.

Great location. We visit often about every 3 months from oahu, can recommend fish tacos, ceaser salad, clam chowder. Sometimes service is slow, but generally friendly. Ordered nachos grande but it was a rip off. Some chips, very skimpy on beans and cheese for a whopping $21. Won't do that again. Easy and Casual, sort of kid friendly, nice bar area .
Would have given them 5 stars had there not been a rude waiter ( not ours) who called me out for giving a very small piece of bread, off my sandwich bun, to a little bird under our table. I guess I figured that paying over $60 for two sandwiches and fries, I could decide to share a tiny piece of bread with the bird if i wanted to. Guess not. Will find another place to eat the rest of the week. Shame, we enjoyed the view and food.

I visited this place on January 23, 2024 with a friend and had a very upsetting experience. Describing the server as hostile and rude is an understatement - he actually yelled at us and we were horrified. When we got up to leave, he threw ice cubes at us. I had written a review describing him as a whack job but later on I realized the man must have a mental disorder and was having a manic episode. So I removed that review. Still, though, the restaurant should not employ a person who can't control his behavior. Although I have lived in Kona for years and am within walking distance of Kona Canoe Club, I will never go back there.
