We had an incredible time at PCR - we did the 2 hour cupping introduction. It was great to learn more about coffee, how to identify and articulate the diffrent flavours and notesMadeleine was knowledge and able to put us at ease right away. she also gave some killer tips for awesome coffee spots on the island.To top it all we even had a local producer doing the cupping session with us, it was great to compare perspectives from consumers, roasters and growers all in one room.If you love coffee you have to go.

A great coffee friend/co-worker signed me up for the PCR online Hawaii Coffee tasting class and I had a great time! I learned so much about the different Hawaiian coffees and I never had the opportunity to taste so many different options at once so I definitely enjoyed the tasting portion. Super easy to follow along! Would recommend to everyone in the coffee community.

I had a cupping session with PCR. It was an amazing experience to learn all about the journey of coffee from cherry beans to the cup of coffee. Brittany was so passionate about coffee and educating people about coffee knowledge. She talked about the coffee farms here on the Big Island, coffee bean processing procedures, and cupping protocols that ensure consistent coffee quality standards across the world.We did cupping for three different beans. They all had distinct flavors, some of which I’ve never tasted before! Then she revealed the reason behind the difference, which was again just amazing to learn about.Out of the session I definitively developed some new appreciation for a tasty cup of coffee. I highly recommend the cupping session for coffee lovers! They also hold roasting sessions which looks interesting too. If you are beyond an amateur, they hold serious coffee training sessions too! Wish I had time for all of them.
