Very good entrees. Salmon, orange chicken, musubi all great. However we were not thrilled with the sides. Next time we will order bowls instead of plates. No sides with bowls.

We just got back from an amazing trip to the big island. Our first time there and it was very different from Kauai, Maui and Oahu. Not as touristy and crowded. With that said, also mot as much restaurants. We found this little spot by accident and ended up eating there every night of our trip!! The food is delicious, serving are big and the prices are low. I loved the Korean chicken bento.

Highly recommend the Ham, Egg and Cheese Breakfast Sando! Musubi was hot and made to order I'll be back for the French toast!

Couldn't gather enough courage to take a picture inside the place as I was given the death stare from the employee for asking questions. I'm a tourist, what do you expect? Place didn't have decent looking food and cleanliness was severely lacking. What's the point of mandating masks here if restaurants are going to look that bad. I got food poisoning just from stepping inside. Avoid this place until at least the flys are gone...

Sumo Deli has good, reasonably priced food. Nothing that blew me away, but for the price it was definitely good! We came here twice and both times we came out with bento boxes that were packed. For the bento boxes we were able to choose two sides. The bento boxes definitely had us feeling full since we were not able to finish our portions. The inside is a little small and not very clean, but we still enjoyed our food!

Great local place, great value for the amount of food you get, we got a bento meal and a tempura meal, flowers were great, so happy we found this place, the name makes you think of sandwiches

Found hair in my food..... Sucks!!! First time today, but I found long dark color hair in my garlic grill chicken even my orange chicken. I'm not going here no more.

Sumo Deli is exactly what it looks to be...basic, no fuss, Asian fast food. Teriyaki chicken, Katsu chicken, beef jun, honey walnut shrimp, etc. All are just ok. The prices are good so that's why it gets busy. Mostly locals come here because it's not fancy enough for most tourists. The line moves fast so be prepared to order once you're up.

hamburger steak with eggs. not worth the price to pay for if the chinese older lady is stingy and my portion for the side was small and you get charge $1.52 for no apparent reason when she only gives less portion to the side and you ask nicely for extra. 2nd time she did that and never for now going there.
