Absolutely amazing anniversary dinner under the stars with the waves lapping in the background. Service and food were outstanding cannot wait to go back and order more items :)

Food was one of our best meals when we stayed at Hualalai! Fresh grilled kampachii w steamed Bok choy and sticky rice - my fav! The fish was fresh and seasoned and cooked perfect! My husband had a ahi Tina sashimi and our friends enjoyed crab rolls and farm to table fresh Big Island tomatoe salad. All our food came out quickly and practically gone in seconds. A very popular restaurant at the Hualalai FourSeasons. Sorry no photos this time but we will add when going there soon! Make sure to reserve your table in advance. Delaney, our server was great and we had her as our server before. Very attentive and especially attentive to our special diets. Enjoy this waterfront restaurant and I hope you love it as much as we did! Happy eating!

Excellent food, excellent staff, and an excellent setting, though it will cost some money. Our server was Lilibeth and she was fantastic- she shared stories with us and made us feel so welcome, like talking to an old friend. If you can afford this, do not pass it by.

Ulu is heaven in earth. The staff is amazing and always allow us to take our time when we visit. The food never disappoints and the ambience of the restaurant is by far one of the best!

Came here for an anniversary dinner. The service was impeccable. Food was amazing. The whole experience was definitely one to remember. We were greeted with a "Happy Anniversary" from multiple people, which was very nice. My 13 year old son said it was the best meal he ever had. It is expensive, no doubt about that so if you're not comfortable spending hundreds on one meal then maybe skip this place. Go early if you aren't staying at the hotel because it is a beautiful hotel to look around.

If the service had been on time it would have been perfect. Appetizer was very slow coming out of the kitchen, and so was dinner. Other than that, it is a beautiful setting. The food was perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. Certainly one of the nicest restaurants we have attended. We were very impressed with the Hostess asking if we had any food allergies (yes!), and then equally impressed when they brought fresh gluten free bread. Cocktails were innovative, and an amazing wine list. A great evening! Four Seasons should be proud of this team and the restaurant.

Wonderful meal. Excellent service. Priced as you'd expect from Four Seasons, but living up to the price point. Our waitstaff was amazing and hooked us up with a couple soufflés for dessert that were excellent.

Food and ambiance were great, service not so much. I almost made this 3 stars. Our server, Delaney, was great during our first course, the gem lettuce salad, and seemed knowledgeable about the menu when we were ordering. But when our mains were served, she disappeared for a long period. Here I was, faced with a $225 seafood tower and no side plate to eat from, no soy sauce to mix this the wasabi and no dish to mix the soy and wasabi. I ate a few things like the oysters that I could, straight from the tower, really not having a 5 star feeling. Then we stopped eating because she had taken our bread promising more (not delivered) and also we needed the items such as soy. Someone came and tried to take our plates, that's how long it was. When Delaney finally showed up to service the table next to us, I flagged her down and asked for the needed dishes and soy. When she brought this, I had realized that I wanted butter for the lobster and requested that. It was delivered but not warm. Meantime the promised bread finally arrived. Mediocre service especially at these prices. The food - the oysters were amazing, they had salt and some seaweed on them and there was a nice rice vinegar sauce to accompany them. Briny and delicious. ?The crab was also perfect, and I had it with the rice vinegar sauce because cocktail sauce would have masked the perfect crab flavor. The lobster was drowning in water and difficult to drain as it was cut into pieces (almost). I don't like y food soaked in water because it dilutes the taste, It was very slightly overcooked but after the butter came I enjoyed it. The sashimi was pretty wow. Really rush and large pieces. Once I had some soy sauce I could appreciate it with a little wasabi. The presentation as you can see was over the top. The shrimp were ok, I didn't like them being soaked in cocktail sauce. I would have used my butter. Hubby got the seared ahi which he really enjoyed. The corn that it came with was especially delicious. The gem lettuce salad was basically a Caesar with shaved egg yolk and togarashi. It was very enjoyable. This place of course has a fantastic relaxed vibe, being part of the Four Seasons. For the great food and ambience, I'm giving 4 stars, but as I said in this level of restaurant I would have expected more attentive service, especially right after the main course was delivered.

My birthday dinner was made so special thanks to our wonderful server. I had the pineapple fried rice, table side poke, fish dip & brussels sprouts. We also had the soufflé for dessert. Dinner was absolutely delicious and our server was knowledgeable of all things on the menu & even selected a bottle of wine for the table. Couldn't have had a better 25th birthday dinner! Will absolutely be coming back & referring friends.

Beautiful seaside dining. Excellent service. Food was....meh! We had a Caesar Salad that was just ok. Lacked flavor in my opinion. Nothing outstanding about it. And yes, we've had some pretty amazing Caesar Salads. A table side Poke that was good but not great. The fact that it was made table side added nothing to the experience. The Miso Black Cod tasted super fishy to me and the Short Ribs were just fine. As someone who cooks a lot and fairly well, I feel like I could have made this meal myself and a whole lot better. For the outrageous prices I think we were really expecting something spectacular and memorable and it just fell flat. We will happily pay for a fabulous meal but this felt, honestly, like a waste of money.

Food was really good including appetizer, entrees and dessert as were the drinks but everything was overpriced. You can't beat the views sitting at a table right by the ocean and watching the sunset so that's what you're paying for. It's nice ambiance and a very romantic setting. Service was good and they always kept our water glasses full. If you're not staying at the Four Seasons, show up early and give yourself time to walk along the sidewalk in front of the beach as it's a beautiful setting. It's a very nice place for special occasions.
