Bowles Burritos has become my favorite Mexican restaurant in Kailua. It was recommended by a fellow employee, so we all went there for lunch. The burritos are large - most in our group took half home for dinner. I had the chicken enchiladas and enjoyed them. Had them again on my next visit. Had the chicken salad on my third visit. (Yes, I love their chicken - so juicy). The employees are very friendly. It was such an enjoyable and delicious experience! We'll definitely go back when we have another employee outing!

Like Subway, you order by selecting each topping. I was worried because I didn't know how to order, but the staff was very kind and gave me instructions, so I was able to order successfully. I ate a taco, a burrito, and a quesadilla each, and I was able to add beans, rice, vegetables, cheese, sauce, etc. to my taste.The kalua pork in the burrito and the shredded chicken in the quesadilla were as soft as canned tuna. Pork verde is in the form of small, firm meatballs.The lime rice in the taco was a slightly sour but firm rice. Spanish rice is a slightly softer type of rice.Please keep this in mind when ordering. :)I always order extra salsa and sour cream, but here you can choose from three levels of salsa spiciness, and the portions are very generous on the side. It's friendly, delicious, and the price is reasonable compared to other places.❤️ Highly recommended!
After lots of snorkeling, we were looking for a place that had some vegetarian options and Mexican food never disappoints. I liked how you could choose between burritos, bowls, tacos, and more.. and they had really good sauces! It wasn't life changing, but good! The servers were welcoming and kind, while the place had lots of open seating during the mid afternoon.

First time customer at this joint. Off the whim choice based on being up on MCBH from JBPHH. Very easy to order if you just follow the steps. Good prices for the island and the best part...the food was delicious. We got two bowls and two burritos with 4 cans of pop. With tip, came out to ~$60. The kalua pork was so good. Also tried the guava BBQ sauce which was totally worth it. Highly recommend this spot!!! We'll be going again when if it's a drive.

Best Burritos On Island! Forget Chipotle. If you need a banging burrito or a delicious burrito bowl, get to Bowles Burritos. Relaxed atmosphere and mouthwatering ingredients. I can personally recommend the spicy Carne Asada and the Kulua Pork any day of the week!And don't forget the chips and salsa! The homemade salsa is flavor-packed and comes in mild, medium, or spicy (all delicious).

It's Bowles... who doesn't love Bowles? Tourists go to Kono's, Kailua locals go to Bowles. The burritos are always good, always quick, employees are fantastic, beer selection is great. Get a burrito, add the hot salsa, get a beer, and tip the staff.
