What a marvelous evening. Great food, exquisite service, and the tables and decor just perfect. Still a hit for a unique and special evening after so many years!!

Hosted my 42 birthday there it was incredible. Just important to know there is one flat rate fee for dinner per person's and that includes a 4 course meal!

I love the ambiance here. The decor makes me feel like I am sitting in one of those elaborate tents in the desert. Find is great as well. My favorite is the B'StillaParking: They have a couple of stalls right in front of the restaurant. Other than that, you have to find street parking

Excellent meal tonight! The harrira, b’stilla, hen with lemon and olives, and lamb with prunes were all authentic; just as if I were back in Marrakech! Shukra’an Casablanca Restaurant!!!

Must know ahead of time: this restaurant offers a fixed menu with your choice of main dish (lamb, hen, fish, couscous or veggies). It is a very intimate dining experience…not kid-friendly. The price ranges from $50-$60/person. BYOB. Corkage fee $3/person.I was here last night with my husband. We hadn’t been here in years, but the food quality was still superb. I ordered the Cornish hen with honey and prunes. It was moist and delicious. The salad course was so amazing just as I remembered it to be.I was a bit wary because there was a larger group with a couple of young children seated near us. One of the children was coughing loudly and often. He was an adorable kid, but this is definitely not the place to bring young active (and coughing) kids. The server asked the adults in the group to make sure that their kids are behaved since it is such a small restaurant. The server could not have been more polite in her demeanor. This group got extremely upset and left in a huff. I immediately knew this family was going to leave a negative review (which they did), so I came here to offer a different perspective. In my opinion, the server did everything right. She was gentle and kind in her approach. As a parent, I can understand being offended because those are my babies you are talking about. However, one must really consider the environment of the establishment that you bring your kids into. There was another couple there with an infant. The baby started crying and the father quickly took her outside to calm her down and then returned when she was settled. I was very satisfied with how the server handled the situation and that they wanted to ensure a pleasant environment for all the patrons.

Enjoyed a lovely prefixe menu for 2. Each person picks an entree. Meal comes with lentil soup, bread, appetizer platter to share, 2 entrees, dessert and tea.In between entrees the waitress offers a hand washing station, orange blossom extract and a slightly sweetened, delicious hot green tea

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a very rude woman. We walked in with two children and immediately were told very sternly that the children needed to behave. We had only been inside for a few seconds at this point and my children were being great. We sat down and again the woman came over and told us that because of how small the place is, the children needed to be quiet. The children just sat down in their seats. We immediately left. They were incredibly rude and not welcoming to children whatsoever. Will never go back.

Very nice food, great servers, they let you bring your own bottle.Only negative point would be that it just was a bit hot in the restaurant.

"It's like a trap. Once you get in, it's too late to get out". Those were the words from my daughter as we were stuck in the middle of a nightmare experience. We have just finished a 2.5 hour dining experience at this place. And, we only got out in 2.5 hours because we asked the waiters to box up our dessert. Would have been a full 3 hours if we hadn't. First, let me say that the servers (bless their hearts as we say in the South) were doing there best. This is not on them. Second, I should have realized what was going on and bailed when I saw all but one table getting their waters and menus given to them almost at the same time. Third, this restaurant does not have a web site. So until you sit down and read the menu, you do not realize it is a fixe prix menu. The price for a "regular" option was $50. The price for a special was $56. Then, finally they mention "a charge will be placed on non-diners". Okay, my daughter did not like anything on the menu so she was going to take the charge and watch us eat. When we said we would take the non-eating charge the waiter said, "Oh no. EVERYONE has to order" - mean everyone who is sitting at the table has to order something off the fixe prix menu. My daughter offered to go sit in the car in the parking lot, but...we can't do that to her. So, we paid $50 for the privilege to have her sit next to us for a meal where the only thing she could eat was the couscous on the veggie plate (main course). It was at the 1:50 mark where we still hadn't received our main course that we planned our escape and asked for the dessert to go. And as mentioned earlier, EVERYONE was getting their foods (slowly) at the same time. This is a matter of them not staggering the seating. But, then again there was no hostess, just two waiters. End the end, the two lamb dishes were AMAZING and the one seafood special was excellent. The one chicken dish was dry. As admiral Ackbar said, "It's a TRAP!"

Fantastic in all regards. Coziest possible place to bring a date. Fixed menu of several courses, you choose the main course. Lots of lamb options. Lamb brochettes and the rack of lamb with couscous were excellent. Bring your own wine. Mint tea and dessert come at the end. We were taken care of by several wonderful ladies. Many of the tables have floor cushion seating. We sat on a soft couch at a corner table and loved every aspect from the food to the service to the decor. The ceiling is made to look as though you're sitting in a large tent and the walls are covered with rugs except where the turquoise painted plaster and old carved wooden trim is exposed. All in all very fun and as another reviewer said, "immersive".

Great food and great vibes! I had dinner here with a group of friends so I was able to try several different entrees (chicken, fish, and lamb). Every single course from beginning to end was delicious. The sweet chef came out to check on us and even agreed to take a photo with us! I can’t wait to come back again!

Always great to eat here. Just make sure you budget enough time to eat. At least 90 minutes from seating. Also dress comfortably for some sit on cushions near the floor. Also you are expected to eat with your hands, but they do provide utensils for those who refuse. Thos is also an all inclusive eating arrangement. You choose your entree, also it is BYOB with a corkage fee.

Absolutely exquisite food. The best I've had I'm such a long time. Forgive me for being romantic, but you can certainly taste the love that goes into the food. If I had the pockets for it, I'd come here once a week. Absolutely scrumptious!
