Might I say; not so great. Also it was my idea me and my friends eat here. Oof. All of us, pretty hungry. Eastside kitchen, sounds quaint food looked ok from the pictures. Why not. I’ve definitely had way better food in an airport terminal. No beer on tap only bottles. Warm bottles of beer at that. And by the way there is no exterior sign for the eastside kitchen. Once you’ve entered the sticky cavernous strange bar you will notice eastside kitchens only sign, real punk rock you may be thinking. Sure, but the food does not at all back up the exclusive nature of a single interior of the bar sign for a seemingly stand alone restaurant. So with all that said there were numerous blushed apologies to my compatriots over a plate of flaming hot Cheetos encrusted corn and a taco that was mostly mozzarella cheese. items a drunken teenager may have assembled from his out of town parents fridge.I will say the service was actually pretty ok so I gave two stars.

I don't like to write bad reviews and I really wanted to like this place but I'm sincerely surprised at its high rating. I ordered the chicken tacos with the 3-sauces. Very mediocre, basically greasy and flavorless.I may give the street corn a try. But really can't recommend this place.

Small place but good food! Mostly carry-out food picked up in little place with a bar-like ambiance We tried the Kalbi fries -huge portion and delicious. Enough for 2-3 people. Food 5/5 Facilities 3/5 Parking 3/5 -few spots right in front. Location 5/5 - easy to find by gps -look for surfboard sign next door

The dishes were really yummy! The garlic chicken wings...my favorite and deep fried shrimp. Nice server. Food was served timely to us. Did not have to wait too long. Family friendly. The days of local entertainment in east Oahu is a welcome addition to the community!! Great job!!

The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. It's a bit hit or miss on ambiance/setting because it's in a bar which can get a bit crowded/noisy with people and animals. The food and service again is on point. I had the birria tacos and they were delicious.

Stopped in late one night after Christmas shopping. They had live music but it finished shortly after we arrived. Menu was limited, just bar food at that time. Not sure if they have a full menu at other times of the day. Also limited cocktail choices but beer also available. They offered karaoke after the band finished and we had to leave soon after because the "drunk karaoke" was a little too much

Disappointed. Expected same menu selection as Kaneohe. However Offerings were very limited and just pupu type. Small portions. Left still hungry. Table was sticky all over. Sign they don't clean very well. Yes, definitely bar atmosphere . Food tasted just passable.

This place is fucking bomb. The pic is from my first visit but I've come back twice because I literally can't stop thinking about it. I get beef birria and the garlic fries and it's best tacos I've found on Oahu so far. Guy who takes the orders is always nice and sitting outside is really nice when it's breezy

Ordered via Uber Eats. The fries were almost inedible. They were too salty. Too sweet. I asked for extra sauce on the side and it tastes like they poured extra on it and it was just too much. Waste of $30 for a late snack.

Ordered wings and birria tacos, honestly it could've been better. Wings were crunchy yeah, but were still pink and bleeding inside. Tacos were edible at least. For the most part the service was good. One of them were new and kind of not familiar with everything which is understandable but still was putting up the effort to cater and offer assistance, the other was very nice and was still offering to help out while training. Pricing could've been more reasonable but definitely not worth it. Very overpriced for poor quality. The cooks were very nonchalant and did not seemed like they cared for presentation or quality. It really took 30 mins to complete our order when no one else was dining in.

The kalbi fries were to die for. So much flavor and the portion was huge. You easily can split that with two maybe even three people. I'm still thinking about those fries though. The kalua pork birria was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender, juicy and flavorful on the inside. Usually kalua pork is too salty for me but the person working there recommended that and I loved it. I thought this was a bar when I first walked in but then I saw kids. This place was extremely welcoming

Well, it was busy, but three orders came out one at a time, and last one came out after our daughter finished the first - and she doesn't eat fast - while my husband got fries instead of the side salad he ordered, which came out when we were ready for the bill! Waitress sort of apologized - but as I said was pretty busy so didn't seem too bothered. Food wasn't bad though, but hard to appreciate!

We loved the poke nachos, garlic fries and chicken tacos! Would absolutely eat here again!
