I don't know if all the Maui Brewing companies have gone to "order yourself" but I absolutely hate this lack of service style that some restaurants have gone to!!! and do not think it's worth the small amount of money you're going to save for anyone like me is never going back! There was approximately eight people working and no more than 12 customers with the time of day we went however we could not wave down one person to ask any questions we had to guess what we were ordering off of the app and I literally don't even know why they had people working. There was NO service! We tried to order iced tea from the person who greeted us it never came until we put it in on the app which took approximately 10 minutes everything was just horrible the food was mediocre if you want a real island or dining experience I don't recommend it and I would encourage the owners to re think their style and go back to the old way where you have someone taking care of customers, engaging, answering questions, UPSELLING! Oh and by the way they advertised a happy hour but again since nobody was around I have no idea what it is or if it got applied to our check ?‍♀️?‍♀️ whole foods salad bar/ food area would have been a better choice!

Maui Brewing is a great lunch spot if you're in Kailua town. They also offer dinner but I prefer the lunch menu. The seared ahi salad is absolutely delicious. Pair it with a bikini blonde lager and your lunch is set. Service is the new and upcoming style where you order via QR code on the table and pay via cellphone after you order. It's kind of nice instead of having to wait on your party or your serve to be available. You will have your food and drinks served to you after ordering. They also have a cute little gear shop if you want to purchase anything. Seating is available outside, inside or at bar area.

Fun stop! Great service with friendly staff. Very accommodating. Happy hour offered some fun cocktail and beers with a discount. I prefer “flights” for sampling but they didn’t offer this during happy hour. The fish and chips was a local fish cooked to perfection, but the fish tacos won hands down. Our nachos needed more cheese and toppings but were filling. Over all excellent choice for evening dinner and fun walk around the local shops.

We had low hopes when entering this restaurant and wow did it blow us away. We entered in need of a cocktail and a filling meal and that is exactly what we received. Cannot recommend any of the sandwiches/burgers/tacos enough. Similarly, the cocktails made my taste buds EXPLODE. Do not be discouraged by the comments regarding the birds. Be courageous or sit inside. You will truly miss out without hitting this place. Thank me later!!!!!

I am a frequent visitor here and recently they have a new system for ordering... It's much better than before and so much easier to use. It just makes the experience that much more fun to enjoy the live music and the ambience. I will keep coming back ?EDIT:I don't know who was in charge of preparing the food recently but I got food poisoning. So now I don't know if I'll come back ? it's too expensive to be feeling this sick.

Love the way we used our phones and the QR code to order food and drinks and pay for it right there.

Beer is good but it’s not really a brewery. This is what actual brewery’s try to stay away from. Go back to a real brewery's roots and you’ll do

Great restaurant with some good atmosphere. You simply order by scanning the QR code on the table. It will bring you to a menu where you can order and pay for your items. It may have been a little busy at the time as when the servers did bring out items they would lose place of where my group was. Other than that it was still a good spot. I had the garlic fries and they were really good.

Terrible service all around.1. Must order through a phone/device and with credit card. No option to pay by cash or order through an actual server.2. Wifi was not working when I was there. Therefore, must be able to access cellular service to order. Good luck to international patrons who may not have access to service.3. Server brought wrong order and proceeded to then took a long time to make the correct order. No attempt to apologize or make amends for the error.4. Food and bevearge were average.Overall it was a horrible experience and would not recommend to anyone.I regret not trusting my instinct at the first interaction with the server and leaving.

Sharp, modern brewpub space in a shopping area, with plenty of parking (a deck and lot) and plenty of seating. Sorry friendly staff, seeking to give a visitor tastes and tips. Maui beers pair well with their new partner, Modern Times (with several hazy IPAs). Loved the brunch loco moco. Plenty of merch,
