Our visit was different from the reviews we read when selecting this establishment. On our visit, Most of the menu items were not available, which I do understand. I do not understand why there were no verbal or written sign to inform my party of this prior to us ordering. We devoted time to selecting menu items just for it to not be available. We did not feel that the food we were able to get met our expectations of fresh, and adequate portion size for the amount paid. My particular dish, I feel the vegetables were saturated in seasoning without a fresh or mild element to cut through the boldness. Overall, this location left a gap to be desired.

Pretty pricey for a few cubes of tofu and no avocados as advertised in the menu. Basically paid almost $16 for 2 tortillas with a few cubes of tofu and shredded slaw.

That Hello burger was very tasty!! I would definitely have it again, I added just egg and avocado which made it hearty!! My husband had the what's for breakfast with fakin bacon!! The hibiscus iced tea was very refreshing next time I'm gonna try the sky Kombucha with strawberry and mango!! Clean and comfortable environment but a little cold... service was excellent!! Friendly and informative staff!!

We discovered this little gem when we were visiting Kailua last year, and now we hit the place every time we are in town. They have a big menu with a wide selection. we love their breakfast items and their vegan desserts are great to take with us to eat later on as we explore the island. The Beet box has plenty of parking, which is a big convenience in Kailua! There are numerous vegan options available, and the staff was fun to talk to. After your meal, please be considerate and bus your own table: there is a table in the back right corner of the restaurant where you can put your dirty dishes and rubbish. I'm looking forward to our next meal at Beet Box!

One of rarest vegan restaurants in the area, we ordered burrito babe (recommended by the cashier) and it was amazing! Highly recommended!

A great spot for vegetarian fare. I love the avocado toast. They try to source locally, so everything is fresh and delicious. A good place to try if you are visiting Kailua.

Their food is good. Love the Rio bowl with their homemade granola. I also like the Hello burger, Thai tacos and portobello mushroom sandwich. A bit pricey but good

So so yummy, a gem. Healthy and a chill atmosphere, this place is a winner. The breakfast plate we had was wonderful, the açaí bowls, papaya bowl, , and avocado toast were all so so good.Dietary restrictions: I can’t have dairy and they have dairy free ice cream sandwiches here, so cool! And many other great options.

Delicious but pricey! The tortilla soup and pressed juices are a fave. Parking is easy and there is always ample places to sit.

As a meat loving guy with a vegetarian friend, I'm always on the look out for places to go where both of us can have a good meal. I heard Beet Box Cafe from co- workers and went there on Saturday for brunch. Nice that they have their own parking lot so you don't have to find street parking. It's a cafe that seats about 30 (?) diners. Everything is vegan. I got the daily frittata while my friend got the Yogi bowl. Some other friends got the burrito babe and banana oat pancakes. Everything looked and no one was disappointed, except me. While the frittata tasted good it was on the small side. I was ok after eating it but went home and ate lunch. Everyone else's portion looked ok. I should have gone with my first thought and ordered the burrito babe which was far larger or at least got the side salad that was offered with the frittata for an extra charge. Still, can't fault the restaurant. I was hungry and should have asked about the portion size when ordering. I'll do that next time.

I was debating between the yogi bowl and healthy plate and one of the staff recommended the bowl. It was delicious and filling. The bowl came with roasted eggplant, tofu, spinach, portobello mushrooms, red bell peppers, & green onion. It was stir fried in an Asian style sauce and served on two scoops of brown rice and topped with a sauce. Cafe had a nice laid back environment with friendly staff. Definitely would like to come back to try other dishes.

LOVED this place! The portobello stachewich is incredible. Intense flavor for a perfectly portioned sandwich. Also, their turmeric smoothie was both earthy, sweet and creamy. Would highly recommend.

I contemplated making a review because I really have enjoyed this cafe for years. The staff have always been pleasant and the atmosphere welcoming. Their vegan pastries and in house kombucha is delicious however I have noticed the past few times that I’ve attended the quality of the food decreasing while the price has increased. I understand that costs are going up everywhere however I am still disappointed with the quality of the breakfast burrito I ordered for carry out today. It was essentially a pile of rice and beans on top a tortilla (3 slices of avocado and egg). It was very difficult to eat as it was not a burrito, just an open tortilla. I just don’t see the $16.75 value.
