Not just a bakery! They also have great gifts. Excellent locally owned place.I’ve been going to sugar skull for about three years now. Alfred & Maren are the owners and they’re both super friendly, helpful, and professional. As far as baked goods, I like their caramel bars, brownies, coconut bars, cookies, and pumpkin bread (when it’s autumn). My husband likes their cheesecakes and they made him a delicious custom cheesecake.As the years have passed they’ve expanded their gift selection and they have a bunch of great local gifts and kid’s gifts in store. They’ve quickly become my first stop to get gifts for my kiddos or a place to get gifts to send to family on the continent/abroad.Kid-friendliness: So many great gifts for the kiddos and they also carry locally made baby food pouches.
Alfred and his team made a beautiful gluten free, dairy free cake for my daughter’s birthday! We all loved it (even the non allergic people). Moist and so flavorful! Thank you!

The best cake I've ever had! The macadamia nut and butter cream was so good! I would recommend anyone getting married in Kauai to get a cake from here :) it was so delicious and the flowers turned out perfect too.

This a great little bakery in the Warehouse. It has a Mexican - Hawaiian fusion vibe - likely because the owner is from TJ. The employee who helped us was so nice. She told us all about the store including the awesome sprinkle bar for your cupcakes. We opted for a piece of banana bread, and it was amazing. Probably the best I have ever had. Soft and delicious. Looking forward to my next visit.

We came a couple weeks ago and bought two puzzles a spam puzzle and a cute poke puzzle.This week we came back for chocolate macadamia nut cookies and fudgy brownies. I like the softer texture of the cookies and the abundance of Mac nuts! I bought one then went back for another one! I really enjoyed it and hope to try more goodies next time!

Unbelievable. Best brownie I've ever hand. Wonderful cookies. The cheesecakes are real stars, the consistency, the flavor, the presentation. Not too sweet, reasonably priced. You can taste the love in each bite. Really look no further for baked goods on the south side of the island. Also enjoy many of the knick knacks and products brought from Mexico directly. Yay!!

I emailed Alfred a week and a half before needing a cake for my daughters birthday, and boy did he deliver! I sent him a photo of what I wanted and asked him to add his own twist on it. He was so easy to communicate with and his work is so awesome. I am so glad I found him! The day of pick up was a breeze, he was able to meet me an hour earlier then I originally asked. He was very nice and really does the best at cakes. I am definitely gonna use him for all my cake needs. You should too
