Aloha Nursing and Rehab Centre has been a valued partner of my home care agency, Always Best Care Senior Services. They are wonderful to work with, the staff is amazing and they really care about their residents and our community. I wouldn't hesitate to send my family and clients there when the need arises. Thank you Aloha Nursing!!! You guys are awesome!

My 90-year old mother was in Aloha Nursing for rehab after a Castle Medical Center stay. The nursing services were great. Lots of communication, which I find to be the most important. COVID protocols were adhered to. She was quarantined in a separate unit for several days upon arrival. Was able to schedule FaceTime visits with my mom and family members without a problem. Personal visits made as well. In addition, facility is very nice, clean, and staff is personable. Would definitely recommend Aloha Nursing. I believe some of the older negative comments were reflective of prior management. If you need rehab services or skilled nursing services I would definitely consider this place.

A wonderful place for long term care. Recently renovated, facility is squeaky clean and rooms are refreshed. I found the entire staff knowledgeable, caring and compassionate towards my mom. A big Mahalo to ANRC for excellent care provided to mom.

Hidden in Kaneohe this place truly is the ideal place to send loved ones for short-term, long-term, hospice, and respite care. Theyre currently undergoing construction to create nicer facilities thatll up the quality of life for the residents. Hopefully theyve finished as Ive started this review in 2019. Overall its a very nice facility, plus its ACed! I had the opportunity to meet with some of the staff and I received nothing but very professional vibes. They take great pride in the facility, their staff, and their abilities to provide a really high level of care. The nursing staff are very friendly and very attentive. Would recommend if you needed long-term care for family.

Wish I could give NO star!!! Nice place TO LOOK AT, but the care you get is another matter. Poor management, they don't follow company's policy! They follow NO rules! It seems at times like the left isn't talking to the right. And you practically have to live on the nurse call button before someone responds. One of the worst experiences of me and my family member. My family member was completely neglected and suffered tremendously as a result.

This place is under renovations and I'm not sure how much longer it will take to complete or if it's complete yet. 1. Parking. If you don't go early in the morning or late in the evening, chances are you will not find parking. Parking here is horrible. 2. Facility. It's clean. But with renovations going on, sometimes it feels a little cluttered and crowded. 3. PT/OT Therapy. I think the therapy service here is really good even though their work out room is small. 4. Staff. Most of the staff (RN/CNA) are nice, there are a few that is not nice and helpful. They hire a lot of traveling nurse, and outside nursing staff vendor and I'm not sure what the ratio is of their own nursing staff. 5. Activities. They have great activities for the patients to participate, they offer most activities on a daily basis. My mom was at Aloha rehab recently. She entered this facility following pneumonia. The admitting office clerk was really nice. What she didn't like was getting a cold shower bath which led up to her getting sick again. I've heard of another patient getting sick there too, who was all recovering from pneumonia.

Beware! Do not go there!! My dear friend with dementia went there from Castle Hospital to rehab from a fall. He arrived with just a hip injury and in just under 3 weeks contracted a UTI that went septic, had bed sores deep enough that would require them to be surgically removed, and then he contracted pneumonia. He was sent back to the Castle and released to Hospice. With deepest regrets passed away a few days later at home. First of all, everyone knows when a person is incontinent, if not changed in a timely manner will contract a UTI. Our loving Husband, Dad, Grandfather Uncle and Dear Friend who had dementia was Obviously ignored by his discomfort and pain from the UTI hence causing him to become septic. The huge bed sores and pneumonia he acquired while under their care were obviously from not being turned in a timely manner. Upon his arrival back to Castle for pneumonia the staff repeated over and over he left here with just a broken hip.....just a broken hip, just a broken hip. Be diligent with your loved ones. Avoid Bed sores and pneumonia be sure they are turning them as required. Visit, leave, come back in Two hours, watch for re-positioning. If not moved, ring that bell an make them do their job. I made sure to let my kids know they better not send me there! A Oli Pono!!!
