What the heck happened to this place? This was one of my go to's. Ordered shrimp wrap n springroll vermicelli. Basically it was romaine lettuce, bn sprouts n noodles. What happened to the thai basil, peanuts, hoisin? Then as im getting ready to eat, she tells me takeout only. If i knew beforehand id have go eat elsewhere.

Bbq chicken sandwich is BOMB! It's consistent and I love the veggies in it. The bread is always super fresh and if you need a pick me up get the coffee!

This shop has been here for decades. You will always find wonderful things to eat. Take out and cash only. I recommend their spring and summer rolls. Tasty and filling. They have the usual Ba-Le menu and have added several Chinese dish selections which are also delicious. Not sure if they still do it, but in the past, they grew all their own Basil, mint and green onions. A very dedicated couple of owners who have weathered the pandemic and continue to provide that old familiar taste and service that we have come to know.

They only do take out, no sit down. Like everywhere else, their prices have increased. My faves are their shrimp rolls, spicy beef chow fun and banh mi. I can never understand why many of these places give you just a small container of sauce for the 2 shrimp rolls. I guess they want you to ask for an extra container just so they can charge you more. No matter how many times I go there, the wife never smiles and never makes an effort to treat me like a regular customer. Otherwise I'd have given them 4 stars.

The food was awesome. I loved the lemon grass chicken, pho, combination sandwich, and more.... They are nice and quick. The owners take it very seriously on providing quality food. ??? Price is very reasonable. Overall, it is a great place to pick up tasty food. While you are in, don't forget to pick up some egg rolls and shrimp summer rolls as well as tapioca dessert. Yummy ? ? ?

Ba-Le sandwich shops never fails to satisfy. I’ve been going here for over 25 years in Kaneohe. Owners Tiffany and Kevin always greet me with the warmth of an old friend. The menu is huge and everything is cooked to order. I just had the Pad Thai. It was amazing. So big I couldn’t finish it. So two meals for one price. My go to quick fix is always the bbq chicken on croissant with extra cilantro. Take out and cash only remember. But totally worth it.

Love me some banh mi sandwiches. Lemon grass chicken is my go to, add a spring roll or two and coke, I'm set for dinner. Food is always fire. And pretty quick too. No dining in, just take out. It's been that way since covid and I guest they like it that way.
