Amazing Chantilly Pancakes, Loco Moco & Coffee. Service is great, always offering to bring you something and not saying "Anything Else" like so many businesses do. Great place to run into Family & Friends.

I've only eaten breakfast here. Still waiting for a day I can do lunch. Everything on the menu looks good.

Really upset about this place. We got there and order our food. A couple of two came in after us and got their food. A family of 5 came in after and got their food. Another family of 4 came and got their food. Another family of 4 came in and they got their food. A mother with a child came and got her food too.So you’re telling me 16 people came in after us and they got their food first? After waiting for another we decided to leave. We had ordered two waffles and pancakes and bacon.Honestly it felt like we were being discriminated by not being a local. What a shame!

Absofuckenlutly great food and portions. Best place in Kaneohe for breakfast & lunch. Can't think of anywhere else local in our town that matches them love it & only been there just recently. I'm saddened that I've been eating elsewhere.

Was originally supposed to eat somewhere else’s but we r glad we ended up coming to this place. Overall it was great truly the Aloha Spirit thrives in there! We ended up in the pay it forward chain where ppl ended up up paying for our food and that just made our day, ofc we paid it forward to another familia. From the food to the phenomenal customer service, the live local entertainment that my 2yr old got up and danced to lol. It had to have been one of the best experiences we had living in this island! 100/10 recomend.Kid-friendliness: High chairs, small kids plate, bowls, and utensils. Cute little kid cups that look almost like a bowl that my daughter drank apple juice “soup” ?

One of my best breakfasts places in Hawaii. Usually ordered my favorite, mini hamburger steak, Mac salad, brown rice with side order of two eggs over easy. Kaneohe across from Bank of Hawaii- Kamehameha Hwy.

I can only speak of the kalbi and shoyu chicken mix plate, food was cold, kalbi looked like it was soaked for like a week and was tough, chicken tasted like yesterday's, Mac salad was definitely horrible. My honest

Stepping into Cafe Kalawe feels like a warm hug from family you haven't seen in awhile. We were greeted right away by Tatum, one of the beautiful daughters of the owners, and seated promptly. We decided to come on a Sunday despite most Sundays being busy. This day was nice because it was Super Bowl Sunday and most people were getting ready for the big game. We were also treated to live Hawaiian music, a little something they do on the weekend for guests. Once we were seated, our waitress brought us our waters and came back for our drink orders. Not long after that she was given a large party so another server came by to take our meal orders. I like that the employees here all work together to help each other out. It's apparent in the dining area and what we could see from the kitchen. A family environment that extends to their customers. We received both our drinks and food in a timely manner respectfully. I loved my hot chocolate with a generous dollop of whipped cream and after our Diamond Head hike with one of my besties, Charlsie, Dillon had sprite to cool down. Since I wanted to try a little of everything I decided on the lite breakfast with bacon, an over easy egg, and upped my starch to kim chee fried rice with a side of the sweetbread French toast with chantilly. It was the perfect amount of deliciousness I needed after that sunrise hike. Dillon got the full order of Lup Cheung fried rice with a scrambled egg on top. He devoured it pretty quickly. Cafe Kalawe marries delicious local and Hawaiian inspired dishes with the warmth of family, incredibly well. It's a little hidden down William Henry Road on the right after you turn from Kamehameha highway nestled down a slope with a good amount of parking and even a drive through for phone orders. If you happen to be in the area I highly suggest you prioritize a stop here. If you happen to be on the other side of the island I still suggest you make the trip out here for breakfast or lunch, you'll be happy you did!

A great family owned restaurant with an old school Hawai’i local feel. Friendly and quick service that made dining feel relaxed and comfortable. My husband had the cutlet loco moco with lupcheong fried rice that was mouth watering. Large portions to fill the belly. I had the Chantilly waffle with a lite bite that hit the spot. The live Hawaiian music was perfect. Just the right level to still be able to talk and enjoy. Definitely will be back when we are on the Windward side again.
