The best Mexican food on the Windward Side and run well by a good family. I do not go elsewhere (except for when I am on the mainland, but I'd also say El Mariachi is not only the best on Oahu, but also better than anything you can find in Merced or Madera counties in California. Try the carne asada chile relleno!)

No margaritas! No beer! No tequila! And difficult parking.The food was fine.Large portions, enough for two more meals the next day.The place feels huge on the inside, probably good for a big family dining, if you Uber there. Parking is tough. The service was as it should, efficient and friendly.

Dined in and went right at opening. We were seated immediately and the waitress brought out water and chips and salsa. We quickly ordered and then it took about 10min for the food to come. The chimichanga was super hot and fresh! A good amount too for the price. The inside has a good number of seats and if you sit in the front, you get more natural light as the back is a bit darker. Overall a good choice and I will be back for more soon! The waitress is super nice as always. Excellent customer service. Parking: Small lot in the front.
Our Family's go to place for great Mexican Food! I love the Chimichangas, Taquitos and Enchiladas. The service is great and the restaurant has a great family feel. You cannot go wrong with Great Food and An awesome staff!

Why we waited so long to try El Mariachi I have no clue! The staff was so accommodating and the service is so great. But the food! It was absolutely delicious! Quite an extensive menu. Our party of 6 each ordered a different dish and each was superb. The dining area was most pleasant and the tables nicely spaced. All was made even better with the BYOB option which we thoroughly enjoyed. Give El Mariachi a try. We will be coming back and you will too!
