Had to stop here before this local gem closes its doors for good. It's unfortunate to see great local businesses fall due to the pandemic. Nonetheless, I'll continue to support this local business until the end. I stopped by at 6:30am a couple of days to go to get my hands on whatever baked goods they had left. I was half surprised to see that almost everything was gone. Lucky for me I was still about to get my hands on a few chocolate covered donuts, eclairs, and their last chocolate cake. The chocolate covered donuts here are the best on the island. Non-glazed with a thick but still light at the same time. How they do it, I'll never know. I'll miss this local bakery and their delicious donuts!

Sad to hear Kaneohe Bakery is closing at the end of March 2021. Of course we had to get our pastries before they close for good. Of course there was a line outside and no parking but we were able to find parking on the street. We spent an hour from the time we waited in line at 7:40am till we purchased our baked goods. They open at 5am. As we neared their big glass window, peering in, we were dismayed there weren't many selections left in their showcase. Patrons were coming out of the bakery with two, three boxes! Finally our turn to go inside, to stand in line again, watching the pastries, chiffons, cakes getting less and less. We were able to purchase a chantilly cake, malasadas, chocolate donuts, danish pastries, custard cream puffs, eclairs with custard filling, roast beef rolls, ham rolls and a few other kinds of donuts. Of course the donuts with filling would be sold out by then and no more chiffon cake. As we left the bakery, the line was even longer. Thank you for serving Kaneohe with your baked goods.

Sadly will be missing this place when they close! Only place that I really love anything CUSTARD! From custard pies to the long johns, apple sauce donuts, Chantilly Brownies everything. But Custard pie is really the best. Only thing kinda close would be those custard tarts at chinese dim sum. Tried all over the country japan taiwan hong kong if they had custard pie I tried it and nope not close. Some of my fondest memories were here, some of my last memories of family was here. Really gonna miss the bakery.

Made an order for chantilly brownies over the phone because they are closing--one last hurrah. Come to pick up and the guy runs around like a chicken without a head, then questions me about who took the order and when did I arrange to pick up. REALLY?? Ok...reorder. Monday--no we close. Tuesday--no we close. Ok...Wednesday, good. Order to pick up Wednesday at 3:30pm and I PAY for the order and take the receipt as proof. They now call back and say I have to pickup before 2:00pm because they closing early on Wednesday. Lose money people. No loss, no care attitude. Might as well close...NOW.

I will miss this bakery! So sad it has to close since I can remember my parents and siblings would go there to pick up their delicious peach Bavarian cake, coconut cake, Chocolate Dobash cake was the favorite!!! Yummy pastries like custard, glazed donuts, cinnamon donuts, snail-raisin donuts, etc. just soo so yummy! Gonna miss them!
Stopped by after work today because all week I was craving for a good Long John. Forget the junk stuff from 7-11 or Napoleon if you want good tasting Long John check out Kaneohe Bakery. I new this place sell out fast so I called and reserved the last 8 long John for my dessert tonight .Their Long John is full of custard as you can see in my pics and it's creamy and the outside is a soft donut w/a little dusted powder sugar. Kaneohe Bakery sells other pastries and pies. Next time I need to try their Banana cream it looked good in the display case. I got there about 2:30pm and all their donuts was sold out so you need to go early to get a good variety. Support local and I will be definitely back.

A great amount of pastry assortment here. The pies are delicious too. You need to go early for the pastry selection because they do sell out early. I love their chocolate center filled donut and the chocolate cake donut. The chocolate fantasy cake, pumpkin/custard & custard pie,Dutch apple pie is delish! Butter rolls are delish too! They are practicing social distancing and require mask upon entering.
