Authentic Japanese Food, and American. Service is excellent! Manager and waitress and waiters is always checking if everything is ok! Great place to hang out. I will recommend it to family and friends.

Kenko Ya has always been our favorite in Kaneohe but never hit the chance to try it again when they moved a short distance over by Longs. We finally stopped by for dinner to celebrate my sister's birthday. Service was amazing. Everything we order was just like I remembered. So ono. When it came to dessert we brought our own slice of cake and asked if I could just light a candle. They were so awesome, they took the cake from me to be plated up and the next thing you know the Happy Birthday song starts playing and they bring out the cake with the candle lit and placed in front of my sister. This was the best surprise. We will definitely be back as regulars again

Food: 4.5 Service:2.5 Came about 7:30 on a Friday night and I was surprised we only had to wait about 15 minutes. Hostesses were great. Our server not so much. We didn't get our appetizers or miso soup. Then i asked if they had hand rolls and he said yes so we ordered two salmon skin hand rolls. Then this lady brings out 2 full size rolls. Before i could say anything my SO just agreed to take it and said we can eat it tomorrow. Food was excellent. The butter fish was soft and flavor full. The tempura was not overly battered and had a nice crunch to it. The salmon skin roll and spider roll had a good portion of filling in it. Even the rice was good. I dont eat alot of rice but i couldnt help myself it was so delicious. Our server never came back until he brought the check so had to ask someone else for more water. Also asked him for a takeout container and he took so long ended up asking someone else. I would definitely go back for the food but after wanting to try this place for so long, our server really ruined the experience for you.

Yum! My auntie and cousins took me here and it's great! Hole in the wall local spot with delicious food and great service. I got the sukiyaki, and it was very good and a great portion size. Everyone else got bento combos and they are generous with their portions, and quality is very good. I would highly recommend.Parking: This place is located I a very busy strip mall, so there is plenty of parking, but it is very crowded here.
