Came back again to get the breakfast and it did not disappoint! Phone ordered and it was ready by the time I got there about 10 minutes later. Big J's breakfast was HUGE and was so reasonable! I will definitely order it again. It's honestly enough to feed two people. I enjoyed the andagi as it was chewier than typical andagi -- kind of like a mochi andagi. Great place to get a quick bite to eat with good portions!

This is the first time I have been disappointed with Megumi. Are there new owners? The chow fun was bland. The teri hamburger fell apart because there was too much breading. The inari was bland, not enough sweetness. The shoyu chicken tasted like it was boiled in shoyu and very little sugar. Lastly, the mochiko chicken and andagi (my favorite) was too oily. I am so sad! They use to be so good.

A little hole in the wall. I got the fried chicken with Mac and noodles. So the chicken was cold. Still crispy but it was cold and the noodles they were alright. Really affordable but right here you pay for what you get.

I don’t know what happened to today’s order, but I was very disappointed. We ordered 6 maki sushi rolls $7, but upon opening and eating the sushi, it wasn’t quite right. Upon closer review all the rolls ordered didn’t have any tuna or very very little in them (see photo). We’ve been ordering these rolls for years and I have never had this problem. Very disappointed.

Fast and Friendly Services. Food Portions are huge and delicious. Prices are very reasonable. Everything is homemade and alot of various Japanese foods and local foods. One word describes it all local style KANACKATTACK (food is so delicious and huge, you eat till you sleep).

Shoyu hamburger steak was more like shoyu bread crumbs, shoyu pork belly had no flavor at all and was hard, shoyu chicken was bland absolutely no taste at all, Mac salad was obviously mixed with spoiled salad and the maki sushi roll the rice was spoiled. I am with out a doubt just blown away how bad the food was. It seriously is the worst food I paid for in a long time. I should've heeded the warnings on yelp but decided to try it myself. Well with that being said I'll never go back there again. If there intention is to get bad reviews then they are doing a great job I mean how can you not know what your serving right? Service was pleasant but not as important as the quality of the food. I highly discourage anyone eating here. $20 wasted.

We went to Megumi's because we were hungry for bento. We ordered a Bento plate, squash and chicken and a mini hamburger teriyaki. We were disappointed when we did not get the squash and chicken and instead received a shoyu chicken with shoyu pork. It was the first time we went to Megumi's and the food was awful. We told our sister we would stop by and get her lunch. We were so embarrassed. The hamburger teriyaki tasted like there was absolutely no meat in it. Tasted like a tofu burger or there was a LOT of bread in it. All the food was very, very salty. The macaroni salad was actually macaroni that was mixed with water and mayonnaise. There was nothing else in it. It also had a very spoiled taste. Needless to say, we trashed most of the food and prayed we wouldn't get sick from the little portion of salad we ate. I would definitely not recommend eating there. Save your money.

I used to love their Maki sushi but not anymore. Picked up 2 rolls yesterday and it was extremely mushy. What an embarrassment to serve to friends. Everyone spat it out. Did they change owner? Seems so because even the shoyu chicken was tasteless. Tasted like they just boiled it in water. They lost a regular customer .

Not the same as the original owners. The teri burger and chow funn and maki sushi were bland. The beef was salty and too gingery. However, the woman behind the counter was plesant and quick in getting me the order. Overall i don't think I would eat here again.

Ate there many times and their hours are awesome opening at 5:00am. However, today's Teri beef pattie tasted like a ton of breading with no beef or teriyaki taste. The mochiko chicken had no sweet taste and a little more soggier than normal. The longanisa was still good though. I am not sure if the price of goods are creating a change in the usual recipe.

Rude customer service. I asked a question if they had fries guy was rude and sarcastic saying is it on the menu. I simply said I can't see the menu and why I asked. A simple no would have sufficed. Chow fun was dry and did not taste good, tried eating around the meat (seemed fry and old almost). The cheeseburger made to order bun was dry and just burger itself didn't have any flavor and too much ketchup. Definitely NOT going back ever again.
