Whenever I’m in Kaneohe side, I always consider and even highly recommend this place. The vibe and the ambience is just right, food, friends and fun.Until today this happened,To my surprise! after arriving at the resto, checked in and all, we were told to wait outside, and the server said “let us know if all of your party is here” and so we did. But, as we went inside… we were told again to wait outside, and the server said “please give us time to be ready” I maybe be exaggerated and I will add this here, He said it with an attitude. It is lunch time, and currently inside the resto, there’s only 1 party dining, party of 5.It is not busy at all. I’m ganna let that slide.So we were called upon then,As we were sitting in our table, the saucers were oily, glasses were dirty, so we ask the sever to change them, we have more to request but the server already turned his back on us, again it’s not busy time. I saw the server make face and flip his hair. That threw me off as I am in a service to, and that is just not right and I told my party let’s just leave.Another thing, the time limit is 60 mins to dine?Used to be 2 hours or 90? The Menu wasn’t explained about the difference of Lunch Special and All Day Special. And the imposition of 20% gratuity for party of 5? Seriously?! Well I don’t mind, but with this kind of initial service… it’s kind of a desperate, Please.Sorry will not come back here again.

As a Korean, it’s insulting that you call this k bbq. Receiving this kind of pork belly was an insulting experience and it’s a disgrace. It’s not pork belly. It’s garbage that doesnt have any retail value. charging $34 per person for this is borderline fraud. 사장님. 장사 똑바로 하세요 인간적으로.

I haven't posted a review of Sikdorak 2, but I have been here many times throughout the years. It was great until I had eaten at a Gen's restaurant for the first time. At that time, the prices were almost identical. We reluctantly ate here today because another restaurant was not open yet, and we didn't want to drive somewhere else during peak Kaneohe hours. We sat down after all of the sides were put out and only then we were notified that much of the selections were not available. Had we been told that at the door, we might have turned around and left. We made do with what they had. The "seasoned" steak and pork didn't taste well, but with no pork belly or regular steak, we had to make do. The best thing was the brisket. The wait help was nice, but I hope to look back at this review the next time we consider this place. I knew the previous visit wasn't great, but it was so long ago that I couldn't remember why. This place is filthy, greasy floors & chairs but the worst is the meat. Very poor quality. Spicy pork was half a plate of pure fat, the steak was chewy. Staff was sweet though.You're better off going to fast food down the street at tasty BBQ where the side dishes are fresh & delicious.

Pretty sure they were serving us slow on purpose... got cut off after an hour and was only able to order three rounds. We had a big group and we're only able to order 4 dishes at a time. Left an all you can eat place hungry. Pretty pathetic

Great place to get your full. Staff are really cool and friendly, with plenty of aloha.Lunch is where it's at. Bring your own drinks or lettuce. Staff even support you bringing things from Times nextdoor.Always a great time here.

Its sad that a place I use to frequent and love so much is now a place I will probably avoid. This was my go to sikdorak location when it opened but now I frequent sikdorak 3. My visiting friend wanted to eat beef tongue and I decided to go to sikdorak 2 instead of 3. We arrived and got seated right away. They gave us our banchan and started taking our orders. For our first order we found out they were out of beef tongue, dissapointed but decided to stay since we already eating the banchan. On a later order we were also informed they were out of "Idk remember what I think it was steak" again sucks but oh well. I didnt care as much for them not having steak but not having beef tongue was huge for me. Thats the one thing sikdorak has over gens and they didnt have it. Everything at gens is superior to sikdorak 2. The 1hr time limit is short asf and has never gone back up even after covid restrictions have been lifted. They don't make certain banchans any more. Its just super sad. Thank god the service was great. This locations always has the best service out of the 3 but its not enough for me to plan to go back.

The quality of the meat was terrible, we noticed it the moment they brought it out. The “short ribs” weren’t on the bone and was so thinly sliced I had to question if it was even “short ribs”. The restaurant is also pretty dirty. It’s dusty all over, the walls, bathroom, floor were all pretty disgusting. My daughter touched the wall by the door and her fingers were literally black. Not worth the money in my opinion, the service however, was great. The waiter was nice and efficient.

Walked up literally at 9:02pm and some kid worker is outside and literally asked if we were going to dine in? I said yes because of course we are, it's yakiniku. Then he says oh sorry we just did last seating...and last call is at 9:15pm he said. So again, why does the hours for this business say open for business until 10pm when they clearly should change the hours to 9pm or 9:15pm. Wtf...at 9pm there's still a whole hour to eat. Fuckers. I wonder if this is the owners policy to just turn away business. Must be I guess. lol

just moved here. I go out to restaurants and eat by myself. I was turned away here because I was told to eat there it had to be 2 or up. No other Korean or Japanese bbq placed has turned me away before. Felt very embarrassing humiliating. I won't ever be returning.

After a long day at the ER and wanting to avoid the busy town, my family and I decided to come to Kaneohe. We were pleasantly greeted with a warm welcome by Baron and Nikki. We were seated right away after signing on. Our orders came out fast as well. As the restaurant got busier with the dinner rush Baron kept his smile and his warm greetings with every single guest that came in. Both Baron and Nikki were great at making sure our table always had food and our grill fresh. Definitively coming back.
