Hole in the wall joint. Food is good but not the best. I gave it 3 stars for the convenience (since it is so close to where I was staying and they do open later than most places in that area). My go to for this little joint is the kalbi and bulgogi (do the kalbi). Service not the best. Very much like cafeteria style, you order your food at the counter and wait till they call your name to get. Atmosphere is very plan and simple not much to it. Be prepared sometimes it gets really smoky in there. Portions are decent.

I do not recommend this place- try Kim Chee 1 or Yoonyson for good Korean food in Kaneohe.The old man who owns the place stares a hole in me every time I go. Why you want to make customers feel unwelcome is beyond me.Food is overpriced ($14 for mini, +$18 for large) the restaurant fills with BBQ smoke at times. For the price, not especially tasty.

Meat Jun at Tasty bbq is delicious. Ample portions and they also have delightful side dishes. So many choices outside the normal 5 or 6 that so normally see in most restaurants. We are also huge fans of the Spicy and regular bbq pork, and Kalbi. The service is great, they are attentive to helping you choose your sides and give very generous portions of those as well. My go to's are the zucchini jun, choi sum, cucumber kim chee and Taegu when they have it, otherwise double up on the zucchini it's wonderful. There is seating available and the restaurant is clean and well lit. Take out orders are ready when promised and in my case, a regular plate is dinner and tomorrow's lunch. Been a patron here for about 10 years or so and in my opinion, best Korean take out on the windward side.

We have been going here for years and finally decided never again. They are so rude, give small portions and flavor is nothing but salt. We try to give them the benefit of having a bad day or busy but nobody was there and the owner just gave us dirty looks. There are other small businesses we can support with nice people. No Aloha!

Tasty Korean BBQ 3 in Kaneohe is a order and go eatery. We ordered the combination plates, both mini and regular portions. The mini portion comes with two bonchon selections, the regular combination plate comes with 4. The bonchon selections were typical of what you would see at a Korean restaurant. All the bonchon selected were very good. Korean ribs - 4/5The Kalbi ribs were were good. I've had more tastier marinaded Kalbi ribs from other Korean restaurants. The Kalbi ribs were decent, more tender and not tough. What it lacked was the intense marinade that you would taste at a good Korean sit down restaurant. That being said, the kabli ribs were good and I would order it again.BBQ Chicken - 3.5/5The Korean BBQ chicken marinade was on the light side similar to the Kalbi ribs. You still can tast the marinade, but it was not robust as I old prefer. I've had tastier Korean BBQ chicken. On top of that, the BBQ chicken that I got was a little overcooked and the edges dry. Some of the chicken parts were soft and tender, the overcooked parts were dry. If the chicken were marinaded overnight, the BBQ chicken flavor would be so much better. Meat Jun - 3/5The meat Jun fried breading had some flavor, but was more flat. The meat was thin, I prefer a thicker cut. Everyone had their preference. That said, I would not shy away from ordering the meat Jun. Overall, Tasty Korean BBQ is a decent order and go eatery, and the food is relatively good. I would prefer to eat here than and other fast food places. Give Tasty Korean BBQ a try.

Kaneohe Bay Shopping Center. $12.51 total rip-off. Yes mini, and I ordered this in the past, and it was worth the price. Not today! Must be new owner. 1 thinly sliced bbq pork, & carefully proportioned sides.
