Average Oahu prices with a good portion meal. The chicken dark meats were tough and dry, and the breast meat was okay. There was not much flavor, considering it's charbroiled chicken. Garlic on shell shrimp never fails to be tasty and succulent. BBQ beef is typical beef from a chinese broccoli beef dish and a little too chewy. They are a bit petty when it comes to ordering a cup of water with your food and provide a tiny cup normally found on an office water dispenser.

A nice place to stop on the way to the North Shore. In addition to the restaurant, inside there is a gift shop and jewelry counters. We ordered the half chicken plate and the shell-on garlic shrimp plate, which were each $18. Chicken was cooked well and had a subtle sweet smoky flavour. I recommend the shrimp too, which were buttery, garlicky, fresh, and plentiful. The mac salad was the best I've had on this trip so far. Loved that they have lots of seating inside and big bathrooms to wash your hands before/after your meal. Will definitely come back.
I was disappointed that the Butter Garlic Shrimp did not have a good garlic taste. Huli Huli is smoked chicken with half a piece and no fat. The taste of knowing! There is no failure~

The reviews were good so we stopped by. Chicken and shrimp were both delicious, and I really enjoyed the chicken. There is a restaurant inside the large Souvenir store, so the sign is hard to see from the outside, but you can look for a place grilling chicken outside. The store was clean and had a restroom, and I was happy to have lunch on the balcony outside the store while looking at the beautiful mountain scenery. I definitely recommend this place.

We were driving on the way to Kualoa Ranch when we smelled something so delicious we had to pull over and try it. This was the most delicious shrimp and chicken I had on my entire trip to Hawaii on any of the islands. GO HERE BECAUSE IT WAS SO SO GOOD. we came here several times in the span of 4 days and have been trying to find a place as good here in Canada ever since. It's worth travelling to Hawaii just for this place. I'm even posting this review 1 year late, as I visited in March 2023, but just reminiscing on my trip, and remembering the amazing meals here, I knew I had to make this review.

Parking lot with plenty of stalls. You enter a gift shop and order at the counter. Was a little confusing because we saw the chicken roasting outside but didn't really see any signs advertising a restaurant.Nonetheless, order at the counter and then find a seat around the corner. There were other options such as beef and fish, as well as canned beer and fountain drinks, but the star of the show was the huli huli chicken.We ordered the half chicken, which came with a scoop of rice and a Mac salad. The chicken was so tender and flavorful! Mac salad was ok. Bus your own table when you're done.Two ladies working the front gift shop, one was nice and the other followed us around for a bit while we window shopped. Was a little intimidating....may just order to go if I'm ever back in the area...
