We went to Zippy's today 2-23-24. We were greeted by a sassy young lady in the takeout side of the Kaneohe Zippy's. Then I placed my order, the person who took my order got it wrong. We waited forever for our hamburgers. I saw our order sitting out on the counter for several minutes before they called us to pick it up. Finally got our order, fries were pale, limp and cold. One of our hamburgers was missing from our order. So I had to wait another few minutes for my burger. The hamburger came pretty quickly. But the rest of my food got cold, it was probably cold to begin with, since it was sitting on the counter for a while. There were like 4-5 people behind the counter but things were chaotic some people working some not. I usually go to the dinning room where the service is 100 times better and with less people working too. Not going back until the dinning room reopens. Oh, and no bathrooms to top it off!!!!!The takeout side needs supervision.

Chili is still good, just the amount is way smaller then a few years back. Zip Pack, Loco Moco no complaints there.Parking: Just watch out, one side of the lot they closed the parking due to the dining room renovation

Service was excellent (5 stars); however, food not so good. Pretty hefty price for a salad with the protein as small as your palm and like you eating jerky. Pie crust tasted old and it was half the size of a normal slice. Zippy's don't skimp on the quality or quantity and people will continue to purchase the food at the higher price.

Miss sitting down relaxed and eat in like old times. Server was super nice. The breakfast Loco Moco was quite filling (according to my other half) and my all meat bfast was to my liking. Yes, I would go back to this location based on the food and services received. ??

Went to zippys on super sunday, got one zip pac and 2 korean chicken plates,my chicken in the zip pac looked over cooked but i was like im not gonna waste it its expensive ,as I peeled back the skin and took a bite it was so old it was almost chalky ,rice was mushy,meat waz tough and chewy at that point I was scared to try anything else,the korean plates were old and soggy as well,malasadas tasted.like old oil was used 83.00 later and 3 sick stomachs ,I wont be going to zippys again ,and it used to be a favorite of ours...

Fried noodles carry out. After a couple of bites, the noodles went into the garbage. Mushy and way too oily. I feel sad to sort of lose Zippy's, which has been such a reliable go-to place. Convenient, friendly, usually easy to park. But lousy food. Yuk!
When going on a trip and when returning home, this is our go to place. I recommend bringing food to the airport as the selections there are limited and expensive. Nothing beats a Zip pac to take to the airport or eat on the plane. My usual at home is the chili loco moco with beanless chili and onions. I love the eggs over easy. There is so much in the plate, I can get three meals out of it. Consistently good.

Tonight, everything was great until the service girl at the take out food counter gave me attitude when I simply asked nicely, " did you call my number?"She replied, "I didn't call your number so it's obviously NOT ready."IF SHE DOESN'T LIKE HER JOB, QUIT! She was nice to a few people she handed food out to whom looked very local. She wasn't nice to everyone. Yes it's busy, though with her attitude she should be fired. I paid good money to eat at this location. I worked hard for food I can get elsewhere though I like Zippy's. This girl talked like she had a cop on her shoulder. She needs to be fired or reprimanded properly.Normally don't eat at take out side, but the dine-in side was already closed at 10 pm on a Saturday night, January 13, 2024.

Zippy's always consistent & friendly service, dine in or take out. Large variety & you know that you are getting good quality & your food cooked right hot or cold. The bakery is top notch too, can always count on getting great pies & cakes especially when you got to bring them over to someone's house! The dining room is a nice place to relax & eat in. Service is always prompt & attentive.You can count on Zippy's for all of the above, but of course , prices are on the increase as is everything in the food service industry!
