This is by the Kapolei theaters, the older one. We came on a Saturday after noon a little after lunch around 230pm and it was empty...just how I like it lol the workers were nice to greet us and the place was really clean. The place was pretty spacious I must say. Our server took out orders and always filled our waters. You cannot beat ordering the combo meal. I got the mini ramen with black garlic which was additional. My sides were takoyaki and mini curry. I must say, the mini curry wasn't mini it was pretty regular size looking lol I couldn't finish most of it so we took it home and had it for dinner. Everything tasted great! I did however take down a star because we ordered gyoza but the server did not mention anything about getting free gyoza during their happy hour until we paid and got in our car and seen the window display. Our fault also we should've looked prior.

This restaurant is not owned by Japanese. The owner is Chinese. So, it is not real Japanese ramen. It's so so so salty. No good at all, not recommend.

Daiichi Ramen has some good Japanese style comfort food. They give quite large portions so you can be sure you will not leave hungry.My go to dish is the Chicken Katsu Curry with a side of Gyoza. If you are not a big eater you can probably share this meal with someone. I actually ordered take out and they put the curry in a container on the side so that my Katsu would stay crispy by the time I actually eat it. Some places don't do that unless you ask.If you're in the area I'd recommend you give this place a try. You won't regret it.

Food was good. Compared to restos like Ramen Ya, Daiichi's food is better.Service was fast! I was so surprised at how fast our food was served.The dining area is spacious too. Parking is also as spacious.We ordered beef curry, black garlic ramen with pork fried rice and fish katsu combo. All are good.

I am a picky eater but that tonkotsu knocked it out of the PARK! Partner ate the chicken katsu curry which wasn’t my favorite but he CLEANED his takeout dish!Portions are big which is great, prices are good and I would come here again for SURE! Very fresh taste.

Highly recommend! Excellent service and tasty food (takeout). The food at this establishment is very tasty! We had tried the mabo tofu noodles and it was ono! Also, the tan tan char Siu mein was a winner. The service was friendly with quick take out. We did not eat in the restaurant, however; the food was very hot when we got home.

Ordered takeout after the beach on a Saturday, and was ready relatively quickly. Asked for spicy and it actually had a kick, which was nice. Would call ahead as there's not really a good place to wait.
