I went to La Tour a few days ago and the young lady at the cashier with the name tag Julia was ever so helpful and kind and the ideal restaurant employee. On top of that the food was delicious!

Chicken banh mi sandwich comes with a frozen and reheated chicken meatballs that has no flavors. 2 chicken tenders with a small size fries were OK for a toddler. Both these items are overpriced. I think they should spend more time on quality and quantity of food if a customer is being asked to pay these prices.

We traveled to Oahu from Oklahoma and came back to La Tour because we loved it our first visit a few years ago. The staff in there this evening (6/29/21) were lovely, so friendly and helpful! Our food was yummy. Our kids ordered Mac n Cheese and they loved it! We had a pastry, I can't remember how to spell it... but it was like a slightly sweet and sticky Cresent that was so good- after eating it he says "now my life is complete!" By our son's request, we are coming back tomorrow!

Soup and sandwich are both very good. The macarons aren't good. They taste too buttery and sugary and don't depend enough on the fullness of the intended flavor. This flavor punch and softness of the shell are the hallmarks of a proper french macaron. That said, these are pretty typical of Hawaii as they seem to have the same recipe everywhere I try them on the island leading me to think this is what a Hawaiin macaroon is.

Good location but little pricy for the sandwich

La Tour is consistently delicious and the service/staff are great. They'll occasionally have a change up in some menu items but the main menu is essentially the same. Some of our personal favorites: banh mi thit khia, la tour burger, pho dip, and the French onion soup (just to name a few). I'm also obsessed with their Vietnamese iced coffee, plantation iced tea and a new favorite: lychee lemonade! All delicious and perfectly sweetened. Located at Kapolei commons next to Regal movie theatre, ample parking and lots of seating. COVID: they recently reopened for dining in (prior to this was just take out). They take covid precautions seriously & I'm thankful for that.

My bf and I came here again a couple days after our anniversary lunch because I wanted to try their lychee lemonade. It was very refreshing and the lychee was very subtle. Very tasty and I never had a drink like that before. It was also had crushed ice inside which was perfect! We got a 6 pack of macarons to share. He chose 3 flavors, and I chose the other 3. The packaging of the macarons is really cute! The lettering was kinda like in a rainbow metallic color. The flavors I tried is cookies and cream (which is basically like Oreo), green tea and my favorite of all time, chocolate. I made a mistake of leaving my macarons out, and because the filling is a buttercream it became like liquid. To prevent that from happening, either eat it fresh or keep it in the fridge until you are ready to eat. I don't think the chocolate macaron had a buttercream filling. It tasted like a really yummy chocolate frosting, but I could be wrong. Seriously, the best macarons on the island! I believe they even supply to other businesses like Mr. Tea Cafe. It's awesome to support small/local businesses! They have outdoor and indoor dining which is a plus! They also have an Instagram page @latourcafe

Can you say kouign aman!? Sooooo good. On Mother's Day, La Tour offered a special one-day only kouign aman in chocolate strawberry. Not wanting to miss out, I checked their website early in the morning and was able to place an order to pick up later in the day. I also ordered their macarons. As much as I love La Tour (the food and desserts), the prices are a little high so I don't go there that often. It's a nice treat every so often though. The Pearl City location offers free and ample parking in the lot. It's sort of close to Foodland Farms so I think the lot can get pretty congested but there are other stalls further down and I've never had a problem.

Delicious butter mochi pastry and croissants

La tour makes great bread that you can buy in the store, however, their café serves terrible food.Got a chicken pesto Panini sandwich for $12 and it was the saddest looking sandwich I've ever eaten. The bread was really hard and there was hardly anything in it. It reminds me of premade sandwiches that you get at Starbucks or the gas station. It doesn't even come with a side, chips or a drink... Nothing to give the sad little sandwich some flair. Pretty disappointing for a cafe to put out such garbage.Gave it two stars only because the staff members are very nice and service was good.

My daughter was craving macarons for her bday and I knew LaTour had the best variety of flavors. We got the dozen box of macarons- the red velvet, vanilla, fruity pebble, and strawberry cheesecake were the best flavors. We also got the chicken pesto sandwich and the wagyu sandwich. The chicken pesto was really good and it tasted fresh. The wagyu melt was ok- maybe a little oily. You enter through the door nearest the theater, place ur order, then wait outside for ur order. I know they're encouraging social distance and all, but they have wayyyy too many signs all over the place.

We took my granddaughter here for lunch. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and taste of the food, It's a place your order and go outside and wait, We all had sandwiches and they were very good. My granddaughter sampled the moochis and gave them a thumbs up.
