Sad this place is now permanently closed at the Maui Coast Hotel. Been enjoying this place for years when I was in town. Such a convenient location. Mahalo for the delicious food and great staff that always took care of us!

Good for HH- cheap eats and drinks. You can't go wrong with the location, either. Literally across the street from the beach. The past two times we have visited Maui, we have stopped here. IDK if we would actually buy a full meal here, but it's fun for the special HH cocktail and a small bite under 15 bucks.

First night in Maui after a long travel day. Inviting patio atmosphere, good and strong cocktails and the friendly waitress and staff. We shared the ahi tuna nachos and woah these are delicious! Highly recommend. For our entrees we got the blackened mahi-mahi and the jumbo shrimp. The sauces were delectable. Prices as expected. Will definitely return.

Good happy hour drinks at a reasonable price. Food is hit and miss. Calamari was rubbery and the burger was ok. Chicken and pasta was really good.

Sadly, no more vegan options! Service was great and coffee was good. All menus that show vegan options are old.

Great outdoor seating with ocean breezes. Staff was friendly and attentive. The lettuce wraps were very good with some heat and spice, The grilled shrimp was generous and served with bokchoy. The macadamia nut basil pesto sauce was very good

We always wonder why they didt get better reviews: the food is good, especially Ahi Nacho and their dinner specials. We ate here in countless times and enjoy every time.

I'll give it a 3 1/2 stars. Food was amazing and staffs were really friendly. But the only downfall was that I noticed the plates were still dirty, like it wasn't washed well enough. I can still see the leftover residue from the oil/butter. I also got a dessert but I felt grossed out when the server handed our spoon and setted them on the table, no napkin underneath for the spoon.

Came here for breakfast. It was a warm morning, the patio had no ceiling fans. My bf had the Maui Coastal Breakfast with tasty porteuguese sausage and scrambled eggs, the hash was bland and the toast was hard. I had the day's special Loco Moco, photo. It was delish with hamburger patty on rice and gravy with fried eggs. Everyone was friendly and attentive, our waters were always refilled.

We ate here three times for breakfast. All was very good. Service from our British "friend" was excellent. Nice area under cover but outdoors, convenient to our hotel.

Needs a latte machine for breakfast. Won’t let you bring one in. Maybe that’s why it isn’t crowded for breakfast like the other Kihei spots.

Been here twice in 4 days. Reasonable prices and good food. My first meal was dinner, I had the macadamia crusted chicken with capers, and mashed potatoes that was delicious! I had breakfast today, two eggs with Portuguese sausage and potatoes with a bloody mary. My drink was a little weak but everything was still good. Nice vibe and view.Parking: Plenty of parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair accessible.

Ami ami bar and grill is a great breakfast spot! We came in on a Monday for breakfast without a reservation and we were seated right away. The food is good for the price and very tasty. We got the eggs Benedict and a loco Moco, both had excellent sauce, gravy and hollandaise really made the meal. They offer affordable breakfast cocktails and friendly quick service, definitely a great spot to stop for breakfast on your way to the beach!Parking: Lots of parking available right in front of the restaurant

We were just driving through Kihei and saw Ami Ami with their wonderful open patio area and wondered what it was all about. So, we decided to give it a try. First and foremost, don't let the fact that it is "part of a hotel" fool you into thinking it is just a "run of the mill" overpriced restaurant. Not even close! The appetizers, salads, and main dishes are not only excellent in terms of quality, taste, and portion size, but on par with any of the many "top" restaurants we have tried in Maui for about 1/2 the price of those "top" restaurants. Our server(Chelsea) was attentive, extremely personable, and made the experience even more enjoyable. Thank you to everyone at Ami Ami for a top notch evening!

I am still shaking my head at the awful service. We made a reservation for breakfast and were seated at a nice table, downhill from there. Waited 15 minutes before server showed up. We ordered then waited, waited and waited. Tables seated after us were served and we still waited. Finally saw our server again and asked about our food. No apology just more waiting. Finally our meal arrived ice cold. What was really strange was the manager was walking around asking others how their meal was and completely avoided us. Asked for more coffee and were glared at. We love Kihei, but last time at this place
