We had the eggplant napoleon and the fish special for the day which was a seared snapper with mashed potatoes, roasted veggies and a special pumpkin and fruit sauce. I do recommend this special as the sauce paired very well with the fish and veggies.Great restaurant for a date in KiheiVegetarian options: Very few vegetarian options

The food and server was bland and dry. The onion soup was very good, however.

Just go! We were looking for a place without reservations and thanks to Google found Cafe O’Lei Kihei. The prime rib was amazing and the French onion soup was amazing. My wife had the shrimp linguini and said it was delicious too!

Been to Cafe O' Lei 2 times. First time had the almond crusted mahi mahi. Very good could use a little more white ginger sauce. 2nd time my wife had the honey roasted macadamia nut pork. Both agreed phonominal. I had shrimp with thick noodles. Shrimp was large very good shrimp linguine. Our server Travis excellent and very easy to talk to. Come to Maui every other year. Cafe O' Lei will be on the top of our list and will definitely request Travis.Parking: Parking around restaurant also a outside mall next door plenty of parking.

Had a confirmed 8pm reservation. On entering the hostess informed us that the kitchen closes at 8 but they can accommodate us. I asked why we were able to make an 8pm reservation if the kitchen is closed. She talked with the manager and told us that the last seating is at 8 and the kitchen closes at 830pm. We order 1 appetizer and 2 entrees. The appetizer is served and 5 minutes later they bring out our entrees, saying that the kitchen is closed. It is now 825pm. We had our dinner and left before 9pm. We went there to celebrate a special occasion...

The food was very lovely, service was wonderful, and the atmosphere at the golf course, of course was more luxurious than the one in Kihei because you’re surrounded with beautiful plants . But the one in Kihei is beautiful inside, don’t get me wrong.

We had the fish special, I had Ono, and my wife had Mahi Mahi. The sweet chili butter sauce was incredible and fish beautiful. We had a lovely server from the southern states who was just a joy to be around. The cocktails were great too!

We enjoyed an amazing dinner here while on vacation, and it was the best one we had. The food was so delicious, try the braised short rib. The service was also top tier, our waiter Travis, was so pleasant and made our time so much more enjoyable. Friendly vibes go a long way and he knew how to make us feel welcome. Don’t skip this place!

A favorite when we are visiting Kihei. Great flavours at reasonable prices. Friendly staff and always great service. Family friendly with a good kids menu. And many family favourites on the dessert menu.

We dined here late on a Tuesday. We made reservations but wasn't super necessary. I had the flatbread mushroom pizza and the onion soup. It was really really good. The mushroom pizza was like steakhouse mushrooms on it which made it delightful with a good unique flavor. The onion soup was done well and quite good.As far as the prime rib. We are from Nebraska. We know steak. It's hard to get good steak on an island for all sorts of reasons but the prime rib here was really really good. The mashed potatoes and grilled tomato were great touches. For dessert my wife had the coffee creme brulee which she said was great and I had the fried banana cheesecake which was a delightful twist on cheesecake. Every cheesecake should be fried banana.Service was pretty good, excellent food suggestions, but staff was pretty busy as others have said. Still good service just dealing with a lot of tables.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options include obligatory salads and some flatbreads (good!) as well as an eggplant dish.Dietary restrictions: Wife is gluten free. Options clearly labeled on the menu and staff is knowledgeable about what can be converted and will ask chefs if. ItParking: Parking in a strip mall can be quite busy.Wheelchair accessibility: There is an elevator in the rear of the restaurant (it's on the second floor) that will take you to the back entrance.
