This place is one of our favorite parts of coming to Maui. We like to walk here on the beach in the morning to get breakfast. Excellent German specialties like homemade pretzels, tropical pastries like passion curd buns, and a nice selection of gluten free - banana bread, biscotti, and mochi are some of my faves.Convenient parking lot, friendly helpful service too.

Stopped by for our morning walk on the beach during a vacation in Kihei. Had the pina colada roll and Hawaiian muffin. It was so hard to choose between all the items! It was our last morning, or I’d have definitely gone back! They were baked to perfection and so good!

The bread and pastries are home made and have a good balance of seasoning. Nothing too salty or too sweet. IT IS JUST RIGHT!The prices are competitive for excellent products.They take very good care in developing good baked goods. All the bread items are excellent. The very best in Hawaii and Maui. I only wish we can get these type of products on mainland USA.They are friendly and very accommodating.Wish their hours of operation are longer.
We got six different things, The bacon twist was so dry and actually not even very flavorful. The bread here is definitely dyed instead of natural flavors. Just okay, would never crave anything here

Stop by for a delicious breakfast but make sure to go early cause they sell out fast. We got there at 7:30 and got the last of the bacon cheddar twist, plus a couple of cinnamon rolls and pretzel croissants. The bacon cheddar twist was my fave...bread was chewy with the right amount of cheese and bacon. The pretzel croissant was my wife's fave as she said it's not buttery like your typical croissant but has a crunch and taste of a pretzel. Finally the cinnamon roll was good, chewy texture but I wanted more cinnamon filling. Great owners who run the shop. Buy local and grab some pastries and bread from this establishment

Best buns ever! Our go to place for breakfast buns whenever we are in Kihei.
Bought gluten free bread. Was way below the standard I would expect in 2023. It was edible but barely. Sorry but where I live the products are good. Maui Bread is about 5 to 10 years behind in the gluten free products.

I bought a loaf of gluten free bread to enjoy over Thanksgiving. It was the best I ever had! Not inexpensive but worth it to have real tasting bread for those left over turkey sandwiches! Thank you.

It seems to be difficult to find gluten free options on Maui. I bought gluten free bread and gluten free banana bread from here. Both were delicious so if your looking for gluten free this is a good option.
