Don't let the name fool you. While it sounds (to us, anyhow) like some sort of Greek lunch spot, it is most definitely an outstanding dinner place. Wonderful food, friendly atmosphere. One of our favorite meals in Maui.

We always make several trips to Pita Paradise in Wailea. The food is consistently good. The service is always terrific too. The fish is amazing and the mojito is the best on island. Mahalo for another wonderful experience.

The food was delicious ! The service, superb! It was our first time in the back booth area. It was uncomfortably loud. Don't know what the answer is. Acoustics are changing. Anyway great food and service! Avoid the back of the restaurant if you can.

Waitstaff recommended the fresh shutome swordfish kabobs, and they didn't disappoint. As good as the chicken, beef and lamb kabobs were, the shutome topped them all! Firm, meaty fish similar texture to a halibut, but the seasoning made them stand out.

Wow, by far the worst food and drink ever! I ordered a pineapple juice and the chicken parmesan. The chicken parmesan tasted like it was rotten. Took 2 bites and shoved it aside. The pineapple juice tasted like water so only one sip. My roommate had the lamb gnocchi and it had hair in it. Do not eat here. You have been warned ?

Reasonably priced, quick service and a welcome change from the usual. We had the chicken Kabobs and chicken parm both were very good. The parm had a lovely fresh unique tomato sauce. The pita with the kabobs was yummy and warm, hard to resist.

The food & service was spectacular. Greek God's platter & mushroom risotto with mahi mahi delicious! One of the best meals ever on Maui! A special treat to have Angela & Phil Benoit performing too.

Our first night in Maui. We had a 715 reservation, but arrived at 6:45 to have a drink at the bar. The hostess outside would not let us come into the restaurant. She made us stand outside (it was windy and cool) and told us that the bartender was unable to serve us. There were four people sitting at the bar eating at a 10 person bar capacity. we found that extremely strange. Eventually they let us come to the restaurant at 7 PM allowed us to have a drink until our table was ready. The bartender was very confused that we were allowed to come sit at the bar. She went back out to the host and asked her why she seated us at the bar. Once we got through all that it she served us drinks and was pleasant. The food overall is good. The waiter was very nice. Kitchen seemed back up with all takeout orders, and they were attending to take out more than they were their patrons in the restaurant. While the food was good, probably would not come here again because of the way we were treated. Greek filoxenia was lacking for sure.

Again, a wonderful evening with dear friends! Angela & Phil Benoit provide beautiful music. If delicious food and fabulous jazz interest you pita paradise is where you need to be on Sunday nights!

The tuna tartar barely had any tuna, it was mostly tomatoes, cucumber and cabbage. The God's plate combination was disappointing.. Mousaka was horrible, not enough cheese, gyro was not traditional. My lamb gnocchi consisted of large gnocchi, some lamb, veggies and lots of sauce with my pita bread soaked in sauce. Apparently, customers go here because of the large portions but we'd personally rather have more quality than large saucey portions.

Hostess showed us to a table outside facing into the sun. When I hesitated she gave me a "take it or leave it" look. Not friendly. We decided to stay. Once our waiter appeared and we started to eat it was a lot better. Friendly staff, very good food. I ordered our favorite sautéed mushrooms and spinach tiropitas as appetizers. She had the village salad and loved the fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, feta, olives in balsamic vinegar. Us guys both ordered the fish special, swordfish in a burre blanc sauce with asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes. Very good though I like my fish just passed translucent into opaque. Dessert lilikoi cheese cake and baklava are really special. We enjoyed everything we ate.

What a huge disappointment! We were expecting a wonderful Mediterranean dining experience and instead got less than mediocre food. The shish kebab was tasteless. Rather than having veggies on the skewer came with sautéed veggies which were mushy. The rice was not Mediterranean, and was not good. This restaurant is not a keeper for us.

We love a Pita Paradise ! Bern going to this restaurant years now since it opened and moved with it to this location ! Wonderful hard working owners ! Great staff , service . Food is very good . Flavor's and presentation. Will continue to eat there often and take our guests .
