The fruit relishes are SO GOOD & the passion fruit mustard is amazing!!! Lemonade is great too— light + fresh. We did wait 30 mins in line as it was a busy weekend but that’s the cost of being popular & once you order it took them 3 minutes to get it out!
This is an essential tourist experience. There is a definite novelty factor in getting Hawaiian fruit in a wrapped hot dog. Beyond that, let's be real, it's still a hot dog. Service varies by time, during a rush this can be hard to get lunch and it's a hot dog at the end of the day so it may not be the most filling meal.Doing one with pineapple and papaya was recommended to me in a conversation with a North shore native. I did that on my second visit with the Illinois mustard and it was sweet and salty, so good.Vegetarian options: They do offer a veggie hot dog as well as vegetarian sides like potato chips and lemonade.Parking: There is a parking lot with more than 20 spaces but it is often crowded at lunch as it is used for Brennekes and also by some for public beach parking for the Poipu beach across the street.

A nice quick service walk up counter with Hawaiian style hot dogs. The food was prepared quickly. Sometimes they have a line of people waiting...so get there early!Vegetarian options: Veggie dog optionParking: Park along the street, in their lot, in the Brennecke's lot or the Poipu Beach parking
Get your puka dog and eat it out on fabulous Poipu beach just outside, where the sea turtles come on shore sometimes. Dogs are great and you can get lemonade with half or no sugar. Service very fast and people working there so pleasant.
