Okay first off, I wish I took a picture of the truck.. they're covered in cute stickers and trinkets! The lady greeted us so kindly, gave us some information on the food and not one lie was told. She told us the sauces go with every flavor of mochi and omg it was so good! We got all the flavors of mochi (poi, strawberry and ube) along with the caramel sauce and pog sauce. They were all so good that it made me forget about the deep fried pb&j I got lol definitely will be back!!

Ono poi mochi made fresh to order. Dipping sauces are yummy too. Nice option for those looking for gluten free dessert.Dietary restrictions: Good for gluten free options.

Food truck. Tried fried Mochi which was fine but a big fan of their red bean sesame balls. The woman running the truck was very nice and friendly.

Came here twice and yet both times no photos since the hot Mochi are sold in brown paper bags. They are served very hot, are very tasty after they have cooled to warm, and do not stay well overnight. On my trip the three flavors available were Poi (taro), Ube, and Mango. Ube was the best, strongest flavor and a nice, almost cake-like texture inside of the Mochi, it seemed to have the most heft to it. I would have thought the Poi(taro) to be a purple, but it was closer to a brown with perhaps a slight violet tint, not a strong flavor and slightly gritty/grainy as one might expect from a root vegetable. Mango was orange but didn't have detectable flavor from said fruit. Tried 4 of the dipping sauces, and my preference is for (1) white chocolate coconut, very thin so easy to get drops on yourself but will also add the least calories to the Mochi; (2) coconut is very similar but not as good without white chocolate; (3) passion orange is thicker and coats Mochi well, is sweet and the more sauce the more calorie; (4) mango is thick like passion orange and was bit sweeter. The Mochi flavors rotate so I would check back in and see what new ones are offered on different days. These are fried and unhealthy and okay for a vacation guilty pleasure, but I can't see myself coming here frequently if I lived on island, just too much oil and calories.

Best of the best. So happy we were able to try it. Sorry no pictures, forgot to take them. Ate it all up ?

Twice I drive to the other side of the island to pick up poi Mochi according to their posted hours and twice they were closed. I also left messages on the phone to reconfirm hours on my next visit to Maui and didn't get a single return phone call. I've previously had them and recommended them to a group of friends visiting but they were also closed on Saturday!

Their signature Poi Mochi was amazing to have, and all of their choices to use for dipping with it are just as flavorful - a must-have if you catch them at an event or the Sunday Night Market- Miguel Morales Photography

Nothing is worth that kinda wait. I waited forever to get my order taken and then even longer to get the food. It took 30 min to get my order

Visiting Maui from Ohio, and this was the best dessert I’ve ever had, 10/10

Delicious! Super friendly and very fresh. Get the guava sauce! It is great with the three flavors we tried (mango, ube, and poi)

Yummy! Such a sweet lady and the mochi was delicious. It came out hot and fresh. We got the chocolate and POG sauce.

Fast and friendly service! I got the lychee fried Mochi with guava sauce. There was a light hint of the lychee flavor but the sauce is what brought everything together. I would definitely come again if I come back to Maui!

Deep fried Oreos so good. Can never go wrong with that. The mochi was also tasty! The I've mochi actually didn't have much flavor to it but the dipping sauce provided the flavor. Nice little snack to share.

Super friendly lady! We did the 8 pc (ube, strawberry and poi) and an order of the fried twinkies.I would say the ube is a sure choice. The strawberry just tasted like it was strawberry candy instead of fruit strawberry. The poi was the first time I tried poi... figured fried has to be the way! It wasn't bad!
