We had a great time at the luau. Slightly disappointed at the food. Not as much variety as I've had at other luaus. However, the food quality was very good.

Beautiful music and great food! My favorite part was the section representing New Zealand... the lead dancer/singer *nailed* it!! I'm not sure the pork they served was from the same pig they displayed immediately before serving started, but what we got was delicious nonetheless. The juice drinks were overly watery, but the only alternative was their Mai Tai, so... juice it was! The show was brilliant and I thoroughly enjoyed the dancing and music. It was nice a few of the performers were available for pictures after the show, but the lighting was dark and made it hard to get good photos. Thanks, Drums of the Pacific, for a great show!

Live performance of Luau including a buffet dinner. Food and performance was great. Show was shorter than I expected. The weather was very windy, cold, and a but drizzle, but that doesn't affect my rating. Subtracting one point for the length of the perforamce.

The food and service were fantastic. Food tends to be hit or miss for luaus and this was a definite hit. In addition, the performances were very good and the fire dancing in specific was stellar. I highly recommend this luau.

Come here for the show, not the food. Once you come to grips with that reality, you will have a much better experience. Being on the islands for the first time (and unfortunately probably the ONLY time in my life) I made sure I booked a Luau way in advance. And I splurged and opted for the VIP experience. The set up was a bit funky, apparently both VIP and "regular" folks were admitted at the same time and so we had to stand in line to get your picture taken. Then had to backtrack and make your way through all those people to get to the VIP entrance. Inconvenient. Once you got to the entrance though, you were greeted with a Kukui nut lei & a MaiTai and guided to your table. We ended up in the second row with a great view of the stage. The entertainment on stage was already going strong while folks were being seated. Once most folk were seated, a pig was carried from the stage towards the buffet, which was then ready for us. We got to go in order of table numbers. The food... oh well it was a buffet and since the venue is outdoors, it cooled quickly. Quite a variety of dishes were offered and I would say overall the quality was mediocre. I have had better, but I have also had worse. The waitstaff was quick and refilled MaiTais again and again, they were unlimited and quite strong. There was also a small dessert buffet on the other end of the venue. The desserts were pretty good. I really enjoyed the sunset, which progressed throughout the night. Beautiful to look at. Take a light jacket, it gets cool once the sun goes down. We enjoyed performance after performance and actually learned a lot about Hawaiian culture and history. Some performances were song and dance, others reenactments of historic events. Actors were also outside of the stage, running through the audience to the stage, or standing at various locations playing instruments, or next to the stage with the sunset as a back drop demonstrating this or that. The entire show was great, from the costumes to the dances. The highlight of course were the fire dancers once the sun had set. Amazing talent. During a small break in the show, we received our photos taken at the beginning. Included in the price for VIPs. Mine turned out great I must say. Also parking is validated, so that is always a plus for me. Just keep in mind it is quite a walk from parking to the actual Luau location.

We had a truly amazing evening at the luau! From the greeting to the end of the evening I felt truly welcome. The luau is definitely expensive but I feel like it was worth the price. Our waiter kept the drinks flowing and the buffet dinner was next level. I really liked the way the show flowed - they taught dancing before dinner and had acts all throughout dinner. I read a lot of reviews and we picked this Luau - I’m sure glad we did!

This was a highlight of our trip. Such a well put together luau. The show, food and service was all perfect. The dinner was back to being a buffet, which was great. A must do!

The buffet dinner is average. The non-stop dance performance is very good.

This was our second luau that we had attended in Maui over the years. The overall performances and entertainment value was good. However, the VIP experience was definitely lacking and not worth the increased price that you pay. All of their information indicates that VIP attendees get in early, but our group basically entered the luau at the same time as non-VIP. Also, we were not really any closer to the stage than others who were not VIP. The Kukui nut lei necklace however was a nice addition and only for VIP guests. The food was not at all what we expected, not very good overall. The first course with the green salad, potato salad, and ahi were great - unfortunately, that was the best food of the three courses. The main course, via buffet, was not very good. The pork was quite dry, the fried rice was not as expected, and most of the other options were just OK. For the price per person for the luau, one would have expected better quality food. We were hopeful on the desserts, being pineapple upside down cake and brownie. However, both were just OK.The service however was great, everyone was very friendly and attentive, with the focus of making the entire night a fun event for all attendees. That was the biggest plus.Overall, I would not do the VIP experience, paying just for the regular admission price is good enough for what you get overall.
