Love this place! My family and I visit Maui every year always make a point to eat here. I have been so sad that it has been closed for the last couple of years! Hopefully it opens up soon.

Closing this weekend. We will be in Lahaina but won't be able to come for Dinner. .......

Despite having a reservation, we had to wait over 30min until our table was ready. Tables are no very clean. Our chef was friendly gentleman and but the show was less average. The shrimp was really delicious but the beef was not seasoned at all and lacking any flavor. Fried rice was good. Needless to say our kids enjoyed their first Japanese grill experience but not so much the flavors.

Love this place. Fantastic food cooked right before you and served with flair and personality. Make a reservation as they are busy. They managed to squeeze us in on a stormy night, and we felt blessed.

The chef was not skilled at all. He kept talking to us and cracking jokes without paying too much attention to cooking the food. The food is all salty. And the steak is overcooked. We asked for medium rare. He almost gave us all well done meat. Very disappointing. And I will not recommend anyone to go there or to face that chef again.

Kobe Steakhouse and the sushi bar is some of the best food on Maui and is clean, delicious, and the team members are incredible!! Located in Lahaina on Dickenson St, it's an awesome place for steak, sushi and teppanyaki. Performances by amazing chefs that can cook and entertain is awesome.Go for the food and leave with wonderful memories!! You'll love this place!

The food was pretty good but the service was slow. We had an 8 pm reservation & our cook did come to our grill until about 8:45.The chef was drunk also, good food though

the place has a pungent fishy odour when you walk in and it is a bit run down. So the ambiance isn't the greatest. the teppanyaki chef was excellent. Entertaining and the food was flavourful. Overall decent experience.

Expensive for the portions. My sushi I ordered before the meal came at the end of the meal. The wait staff asked if we wanted fried rice which said on the menu the meal came with rice and then we were all charged an additional $4 for the rice. Kind of crazy when it's already $30-50 a plate. The food was okay, nothing amazing but it was entertaining having them cook it in front of you.

This is a hibachi place. We're from the New York/New Jersey area and when the name has steakhouse in it we're expecting a steakhouse. This a hibachi restaurant. The food was fine and exactly what you would expect from a hibachi place but not from a steakhouse. It's not bad but it's hibachi lol.

We were on time for our 8 pm reservation. We were told to wait for our table. At 8:10 another party the same size as ours came in and said they had reservations at 7:30 but were late. They were immediately seated. We then had to wait 10 more minutes to be seated. It was tough because we had a 5 year old who was tired and hungry. So we were on time and had to wait 20 mins and a party that was 40 mins late was sat right away. I asked why and they said that they had to seat in order. Which made no since to punish someone on time and reward someone for being late. It made no sense.

Food was a bit pricey. Food was just ok. Not anything to rave about. Restaurant was a bit dated. Bartender at the bar kept disappearing!

Would definitely recommend! Our chef Bryan (sp?) was really nice and gave great service all around!! Food was fantastic. I got tofu steak and my boyfriend got sushi and the ribeye and we both loved it. Definitely recommend upgrading from white rice to the garlic fried rice.

Bartender was so generous for my birthday but I think the cook was new because he didn't do the knife show or anything. All he did was the onion show. Everyone was nice thank you.
