Mamas has become my new go too for dinner... with fresh cooked meats and a variety of options .. you be glad you came I'm. I recommend the Beef Brisket sandwiches ... & would recommend getting extra BBQ sauce with it as there's is amazing.., and I'm very picky about barbecue sauce!! I also recommend their green salads. Sides.. They are always fresh and delicious. .

The food is plentiful for the price but it's mediocre. Ribs don't have much flavor, just tastes like sauce. Chicken is okay. The coleslaw was good. Lots of better plate lunch places on the island.

Outdoor and indoor seating. A lot of food for the price, the ribs were very tender. I was there 9:20 am and they officially open 11 am, i believe. The lone employee spoke some English, was fluent in Mandarin, really nice guy.

Overall 4 stars. Unassuming, hole in the wall spot that always seemed to have locals in line (a good sign when you're traveling). Simple, tasty food with generous portions, good prices and a friendly staff. As the name states, Mama's does chicken right - the quarter chicken was tender, juicy and flavorful. Mac salad was a bit bland the first time in, great on the 2nd trip, rice was as expected, potato salad left a bit to be desired. My husband enjoyed the brisket sandwich, a classic with just meat and sweet/spicy BBQ sauce on a soft bun.

I so wanted to like this place. My wife does a great country-style rib that she boils, but she includes some vinegar and spices. You could eat them without sauce but we toss them on the grill with a homemade sauce and get a char and glaze on them. They are delicious. So I had no qualms that they boiled their ribs.These ribs are not that. They are boiled to death (that's when the meat falls off the bone) and in evidently nothing more than water. Then stuck in a warming tray until served (clearly no char or grill marks) with what tasted like a store bought sauce. They are barely edible smothered in the sauce.As others have said the macaroni is flavorless. Even a little salt and pepper would help it. I've had better from Safeway's deli.I asked a local if they had ever eaten there. His response said it all "Back in the day before the current owners when it was good"

Went there last night and what can I say but WOW. Don’t expect a nice sit down restaurant. It is your local shopping center eatery. But the food is so good & lots of it. Enough for 2 meals.Ordered LauLau , bbq ribs (meat so tender)& chicken katsu( not greasy at all) Wish we found this place sooner.

We were so happy to find this little restaurant still in business and the food just as good as the last time we visited Maui This good is delicious- big portions- so so sooo good! The dessert was yummy. Do yourself a favor and eat her at least once while in Maui. You won’t be disappointed!! Can’t wait to come back floor next trip.
