Really lovely experience. The food was great, the drinks were strong, and you can't beat that sunset view! The luau is interactive which made it really entertaining.

I didn’t know what to expect since I never went to a luau before but I was throughlyEntertained and could have asked for anything better. The song, dance and stories were all first xlass

The Royal Lahaina Luau is probably my most visited luau on Maui. Was definitely always fun running into a neighbor that happened to be working or just someone I haven’t seen in awhile. Its just one of those fun evening activities to take your friends & family to whenever they get to come visit. Since that sunset view is always gorgeous. Not to forget to mention you just hooked yourself up with some down time to relax, eat, drink & enjoy the show. Plus the fun & friendly atmosphere always makes me miss my dancing days way back in the day.Until next time.XOXO,ChelsieFletcher

The staff are all very kind. It’s just mainly the quality of the show and the food that were not great. After going to this show we took the 22min flight to Oahu and saw the Luau at Disney’s Aulani. The food was so much better and so was the performance. I thought that was as good as it gets then we spent our last day in Hawaii at the Polynesian cultural center. After a day of fun there we had the Luau and show. It was incredible!! Everyone else should be trying to be like the PCC. I don’t know if the Myths of Maui Luau is way over priced or if the PCC is way under priced. You’ll still have a good time here at the Myths of Maui, it’s something to do. Just make sure it’s not the last Luau you go to.

This is our first visit to Maui and our first luau, so I don’t have a lot to compare it to, but our family had a wonderful time. Some of the food items were only luke-warm, and a couple were overcooked, but overall the food was really good - particularly the chicken and the fried rice. They had plenty of different options for those looking for vegetarian options - lots of salads and veggies - and we absolutely loved that they had chicken fingers and Mac & cheese for our picky eater! The servers were super attentive and friendly, there were copious drink options, and the seating was comfortable. We paid extra for the VIP experience so we had a seat in the front and center, excellent views even for our small kiddos. The VIP experience included leis for the whole family which was nice! The performances were top notch and kept the whole family entertained the whole show! It was definitely a wonderful evening, and while we probably won’t do this every time we visit ($$$$), we would definitely come back again in the future!

Had a great experience here. The food and cocktails were both amazing. All of the performances were spectacular with such a positive energy, the whole audience was smiling throughout. The highlight of the night for us though was our server Jordan! He was so proactive with knowing when we’d like another drink, or our plates cleared, we were very impressed with his service. Thank you so much to all the staff!

My family and I attended this luau on Dec,24/23. The food was good as it suited a wide variety of taste palettes. The open bar was quick and efficient offering waited table service or self service. The performance was both artistic and musical. The performers all did a great job. The entire evening was well worth the money and I'd recommend it to any of my friends. We arrived around half an hour before the start time and were greeted with a short line to get in. I felt like we had plenty of time to eat and enjoy ourselves.

Food was excellent! Lots to choose from the the main courses were very good. I mentioned in the reservation that it was my twin daughter’s 13th birthdays and they incorporated them into the show. Got everyone to swing happy birthday in Hawaiian to them.Show was good mainly dancing and story telling. Could have been a little more interactive and have more demonstrations Showing how actual fishing techniques work with real tea leaf nets in the ocean and Maybe involving the guests with the unearthing of the pig are some ideas. Also it was a little crowded. We had VIP tickets and got ahead of all the lines. But once general admin was in, the lines were too long and you would miss the show waiting for the bar. Thankful for VIP table service and JB our very helpful waiter. If this was my luau, I would reduce the headcount so the quality of the experience isn’t diluted. Ratings would inherently increase.

We purchased 2 tickets paying $400 plus .We been told that they have vegetarian food options. When we came to the site, we asked the manager if we have vegetarian options. He started laughing and said yes!!! You have macaroni and cheese.!!!!! I felt insulted. We paid more than $400 for macaroni and cheese.!!!! Literally there was no other options. All meat items!!! There were desert but we Don’t eat much sugar items. We don’t drink alcohol so not worth it.Besides the food, performance was not great. It was just basic. Nothing special that you feel wow!!! We did not enjoy at all. You are sitting so far that you hardly can see. Few girls danced on 3 to 4 songs. Two dance were solo and few guys performed with fire. But we did not see anything amazing!!! Just basic. We show the show in Waikiki at cultural center. That was far better. Performance lasted longer.I don’t recommend this show paying $400Food, dance or sitting not worth it.

Definitely get the VIP tickets!!I took my son as a surprise for his birthday and when we first pulled up and saw the very long line of people waiting outside I could tell that he was skeptical. But being escorted in, past all of the people in line, and straight to our table set his mind at ease and we both agreed was well worth it.The food and drinks were good and the show was entertaining. ESPECIALLY THE FIRE GUY AT THE END!!All in all, it was a fun father son night out.

Myths of Maui Luau was fantastic. We had VIP tickets which got us close to the stage and early to the buffet line. The food was awesome with a wide assortment of food for different palates including the vegetarian options. The hula show was great and ended with fire dancing. The sunset was perfect as well. The show was family friendly and worth seeing again.

Best Luau I've ever been to (3 to compare). The food was good, drinks were good and the show was great. 4 stars because we got VIP seats and paid a significant amount for those for my family of 6. The server started off fantastic(super energetic and nice) and my husband gave him a tip just for the one drink he had brought him, intending to keep tipping with each drink through the night, well the $5 for one drink wasn't good enough because the guy turned rude and just plain ignored us. We had to go get our own drinks from the bar which was fine, but the rudeness was uncalled for. We happened to run into the same server working at another restaurant the next day and he was rude to us there too, while nice to others around us. I promise we are great tippers ($5 for each free drink is reasonable I think). In hindsight i think we could have just given him lots of $$ at the start of the night and he may have treated us better. Either way it was uncalled for, and tips should not be expected. Anyhow, that was a bummer of the night. It would also be nice if there were more dancers so that you could have more variety with each performance. It was the same 4 or 5 women throughout the night. Overall, though, the show was great, kids loved it and food was good. I DO recommend this Luau despite my gripes.

Do not recommend this luau! I purchase the VIP tickets and they do not come with any benefits besides sitting in the front next to the loud speakers. Not only is the food cold and limited though the service also sucked. In addition some of the performers were delayed, most likely because the music was improv. The luau did not include any of the traditional luau practices either.
