Came here on the recommendation of a local chef and had our hopes up based on the reviews and write up. We ordered the chickpea and guanciale on toast, squid ink pasta, and pizza with Maui cattle meatballs. Lovely decor and the menu offers a nice bit of storytelling and local recommendations. It’s a nice alternative to the kitschy restaurants on the main drag.

One of the best restaurants on the west side of the island. I've been here many times and it is usually the only restaurant I find worth visiting on this side. It's a bit pricey but the quality of the food is worth it, in my opinion. The service is good as well. One must-get item is the beef cheek pasta, truly delightful, although you can't really go wrong with any of their offerings.

This palce is a 10 out of 10 Italian.Do visit and make a reservation in advance. The food is delicious. Not only how they make it, but also the quality of the ingredients.Nice wine options too.Price is decent, we had 2 small plates, 1 pizza, 2 deserts and wine for $70 each without tip.

Heard about this place from a fellow guest. I’m a lasagna king and this was by far the best I ever had. Homemade past and sauce and cheese from Italy. Don’t miss it! Great Italian wine list too

I'll start off with the bad - had a reservation for two, ended up waiting 45 minutes to be seated, which is abysmal considering we had a set reservation time, not sure how that happened, but they were backed up that night. But man, was it worth the wait! They comped our first round of drinks for the wait, so that was a nice surprise. I can't remember the name of the appetizer, but it was like a large bruschetta, which was delicious. I got the lasagna, and that was the best lasagna I've had hands down. My wife got a pesto pasta, which she enjoyed alot as well. Highly recommend if you want some authentic Italian for dinner.

The Hostess reminded me of the airline attendant from the movie “Meet the Fockers” when she wouldn’t let actor Ben Stiller on the airplane even though he was the only person waiting to board his flight. We arrived at 5:15 pm for a 5:30 reservation and I could see that there was more empty tables than people at tables, but she stated that we were early and had to wait… outside of the restaurant. When I mentioned that there were many open tables she sternly told me to step outside and wait until called. It was really funny, for a minute. When we were called inside for our reservation I found the restaurant very ordinary and pretentious all at the same time. I would not recommend this restaurant for anyone wanting a pleasant environment.

When we arrived, there were about 20 people waiting in front- not for a walk-in table, but for their reservations. We waited about 25 minutes after our reservation time to be seated. Then, it was 45 minutes to get our drinks- the waitperson said she was also the bartender. After another 25 minutes, I inquired about our appetizers; the waitperson admitted she forgot to put the order in, but would rush them. In another 15 minutes, they arrived- four minutes before our entrees. The entrees: my son's gnocchi were so burnt they were inedible. We had to send them back, and the waitperson brought more out 10 minutes later, saying we would not be charged for them. Alas, we were. My wife's lasagna was also burnt, but she was able to cut it off and still have enough to eat. My daughter's pasta with beef ragu had chunks of meat the size of small steaks in it. My grandfather was a chef from Italy, and this is not how ragu is supposed to be. On the other hand, my pasta was excellent, and the waitperson comped us dessert. We had excellent service at other restaurants in Maui, but when you see waitstaff running, as they did here, something is wrong.

The BEST meal for my family of 5! We had four different kinds of pizza and one special which consisted of sea bass and zoodles. Everything was delicious. We sat at the bar because we didn’t have reservations but our bartender/server Kelsey was so accommodating. 5+ stars for this amazing restaurant!

So glad we made time for this! This was our last meal before the airport and they were amazing. We didn’t have a reservation but showed up at opening and they were able to fit us in. Everything is from Italy down to the flour or it’s fresh from the island. Everything was delicious and authentic. Our server was Michelle and she was awesome. Loved her recommendations and quality service.

Exquisite! The pasta was as good as they say— it really felt authentic Italian and was a nice pívot from the meals we had been having during our trip. We ordered past and pizza for pick up. The sausage on the pizza was crumbled and dry, it did not look appetizing. The cheese pasta was flavorless. It was fine, but just not our favorite food on the island. And for the price I expected much better quality.

Delicious food! The best Italian on Maui. Love this spot for some pizza, pasta, good wine, and lovely ambiance.
