Absolutely the BEST malasadas on Kauai!!! Before coming to Kauai Bakery, we tried Passion Bakery (small, expensive, so-so flavor) and Island Craves (tough, day old and small, not much flavor). Kauai Bakery has very fresh, moist and flavorful malasadas. They're also good sized and inexpensive ($1.50 for plain sugar or cinnamon sugar!). Delicious!!!! Similar in freshness, taste and size to the malasadas at Tex-Drive In on the Big Island.Friendly, wonderful, people....family owned. The best! Don't go anywhere else but here!Parking: The bakery is on an outside edge of a shopping mall, next to n entrance. Lots of parking!

Coconut and ube turnover pastries were good! Other pastries not so much. I also liked their coffee.
Good malasadas and decent coffee but for some reason, they don't fill the cup all the way. First time here, I parked on the opposite side of the mall and it too some doing to find this place.

The malasadas were delicious, but they weren't freshly made. We went to two other places, and both didn't serve malasadas on Fridays, so I was extra grateful that this place had them and they didn't disappoint.

They aren’t currently making the Portuguese donuts, but my cinnamon bun and macaroons were amazing! It’s a little tricky to find, on the back side of the building maps takes you to.
Warm Malasadas?Yes please, I’m definitely a fan. We tried ube, custard and guava filled but everyone’s favorite was the cinnamon and sugar.
My favorite is the purple yam filled donut, don’t care about the other flavors but others liked them
