What a great food truck experience!! The food is out of this world delicious and the people are friendly. We had the combination plate with short ribs. Teriyaki steak and chicken. Each meat was better than the last. We lived it all. We also had sesame balls. The best ever!! The fresh fruit kiwi boba was frosty and flavorful.
Food was off the charts great. The rice was so well made fragrant and delicious that I could have just eaten rice and been happy. In fact, when I ate the rice I realized that a GOOD restaurant should first master rice just like this…if you can’t even make rice what are you doing?! We were impressed they had fresh fried sesame balls and kimchi at a BBQ place. The garlic shrimp, short rib, and Hawaiian pork plates were incredible!! Will definitely come back. After trying other boba places on island, Kauai boba and barbecue is the best spot. Bobas are always soft and chewy, drinks are always how you remembered. I've tried many food items and they're delicious with generous portions for the price. The business is family owned and operated. They get busy especially when cruise ships are parked, but enjoy the atmosphere because it's worth the wait.
