Very disappointed. Have been several times and this by far was the worst experience!

Staff amazing, kind, friendly and enthusiastic. Luau show excellent! The whole atmosphere was excellent! Food was good. It is expensive but their program was put together really well. Also vendors had some nice quality products made from Kauai and not over pricedDietary restrictions: Gluten Freen options and vegetarian optionsParking: Ease of direction for parking with parji g lot attendantsKid-friendliness: Lots of families

The Lu’au at Kalamaku was pretty neat! The cast and performances were gorgeous, especially the fire ones! This was our first Lu’au, so I can’t provide a comparison to other Lu’aus on Kauai. The food - was okay. As a vegetarian, I had limited options and didn’t get to try the poi. The salad was pretty good though! They’d an open bar with good drinks. Our table had fun people seated there, so we had a good time!I feel that Lu’aus are a one time experience, and this was pretty good.

The luau was a great experience for my family. We were rained out for flash flood for initial day we were booked and they gave us a 1x change to a few days later which was courteous. We arrived a few mins early, easy check in and got our tickets for the train ride. Train ride was worth the time. We got back to the luau, service was good, and food was 4 stars. Honestly it seemed less good as we had been eating such quality food on the island for a week already but they did well for a buffet, we loved the chow mein. The show is where they excel. Gotta go see it!Vegetarian options: AvailableDietary restrictions: Various optionsParking: AvailableKid-friendliness: Good for kidsWheelchair accessibility: Available

We did the VIP dinner and Luau with premium seating. This was a phenomenal experience! We had the best seats in the house at dinner. Our server was wonderful and made excellent recommendations. The atmosphere was 5 star plus. The food was excellent. And the Luau was way beyond anything I ever expected. We were definitely treated as VIP with front row seating at our own table. The Luau show was unbelievable. I was expecting some eukalale and hula dancing. This was not that! This was the finest performers playing out an authentic Hawaiian story with the best dancing and theatrics, the story line was awe inspiring and the entire show, especially the fire show, was superb. This was a great experience and I highly recommend this to anyone.

We had a wonderful time and felt that the atmosphere was great. The evening flowed very well and we enjoyed having some time to get to know the other people at our table. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

It was my first time at a lu’au and it was fun. Food was good drinks were open bar which was great. I wish the seating would have been a little more toward the stage but i booked last minute. All in all i would go again

We had an excellent time at the Lu’au. The buffet line was the most efficient I have ever been to, the food was very good for buffet type food (the pork was excellent), and the show was very, very good (especially the fire show)!

Honestly not what I was expecting. It was expensive, dinner was rushed. The brought out the salad before the luau, barely had time for the table to grab a plate of salad. Then the buffet was so rushed, you were lucky to go back for seconds. Then they brought dessert and the food was gone.As for the show, it was a musical detailing one man and his daughters story. I was expecting a pig roast, and more of a ceremony/traditional show. This was more of a musical theater show. All in all it wasn't terrible, but I would not go again.Side notes: the open bar and craft booths were neat, I did not do the train ride.
