I've always loved Po's. They are under new ownership now. I went there the other day and the food still tastes the same super delicious and everyone there is so nice. They also have Spam Musubis and the flavor is sooooooo good. Not your traditional just shoyu rice nori and spam but it has a good flavor to it. I definitely would recommend this place to anyone.

Got the deluxe. It has a variety of things to try. It was ok. Wish there was a place to sit and eat.

Based on majority of reviews I decided to order the Deluxe. Perhaps it was 1:30 pm, they close st 2:00 pm that resulted in the food being mediocre. The best thing on the plate was the shrimp. Everything else was cold snd dry. The chicken, beef were so dry - I could barely cut into pieces to eat - and didn’t. The other portions of egg roll (more like a slicer of omelet), long rice noodles , mash were ok.I was very disappointed and would not recommend.

This is an authentic lunch spot loved by many locals. Their Deluxe Bento offers so many delicious meat (chicken, Shrip, ham, beef teriyaki), rice, mashed potatoes and two salads. So many tastes to enjoy!

Been coming here for decades, I ALWAYS order the Deluxe. If you want the real deal, best box lunch on Kauai, this is it!

Used Po's kitchen to feed our football team while in Kauai. Easy to place order with. Food was delicious and cheap. Hard to beat the traditional mom and pop okazukya/ bento storefronts.

aunty at the front was so nice/ called an hr before the store closed as able to get myself a deluxe box lunch. at the counter they also had those ono Japanese pretzel. I will say portions have changed since pandemic but other than that food is always delicious if you happen to find yourself along the rice street area

The lunch box is Kauai's favorite pre-packed and ready to go meal. It's all about convenience and familiar food here. There's nothing weird or surprising in this meal packed in the white box and it's a fun way to try small bites of a lot of different things that you might not order on the regular. Down to the piece of red hot dog, this is 100% local food. The lunch box is a Garden Isle classic, a convenient and portable meal to grab on the way to the airport. Even the Yelp critics here would agree that Po's is definitely better than what you could get at LIH!

Bento is not the same as it used to be like. Two very small and very fried chicken, one skinny slice of luncheon meat, two rice triangles with no nori, one teriyaki beef piece, half hot dog, small egg roll.

Fantastic bentos. Easy ordering at the window--being sure to check with the rest of the crowd as to who has ordered in a prior batch--and a delightful box comes out.

Po's kitchen is located in a shopping plaza right next to Ace hardware store. It's a nice little shop, currently no indoor seating, that serves plate lunches and sushi. We didn't eat the bento box but we did order cone sushi to eat on the plane ride home.Japanese call it Inari sushi but in my opinion Po's is a little different. It was taste and larger with a Hawaiian Japanese flare lol this is what I gathered. The next time we're in Kauai, we'll definitely have to stop by and try out their bento boxes.

Quick service, food tastes good. Lower rating due to how carb heavy the food was. Ended up throwing out most of the rice.
