Very disapointing all around. The staff was completely overwhelmed and took forever to seat us; to take our orders and then to serve us our drinks and food which came to our table before the drinks. When we mentioned this fact the wait staff whisked our food away so quickly we had no time to object and sadly it wasn't returned until well after our drinks finally arrived and much to no ones surprise was now cold. The flavor of EVERY dish was cumin foward. I mean this whole taste experience was an exercise in the use of cumin. From the al pastor chicken to the carne pork adovada and even the refried beans and spanish rice. The first and last bites of every dish were cumin and cumin, in that order. Except the churro fies. Those were yummy and not a note of cumin! Don't get me wrong, cumin has it's place but not so much that you are unable to discern any other ingredient. I'm hoping our experience was a kitchen accident and not the standard recipe.

Had a great meal with awesome drinks and service! Our server Kimmy was wonderful. The garlic shrimp and mahi tacos were great. Would definitely recommend!
Verde is one of our family favorites...Kids love it we love it. The atmosphere is epic, the food is awesome, and major shout out to our most recent server! She was attentive, but more than that she was dynamic and seemed like she genuinely cared about our experience. She was behind the bar when we first arrived and then our server, she interacted with our son and equally with us offering suggestions and a great experience. Mahalo nui loa to Kolo and Verde for providing a excellent family night out in the big city!

The food here is always wonderful. The service is awesome and they make their tortillas in house. So very fresh. We had the taco salad and the nachos this visit along with some red salsa. I always plan to eat here when in Kauai.

Food was not good. Both my husband and I felt ill within 2 hours. Portions were small and bland. Rice was so dry, I can only assume it was leftovers or had been sitting in a warmer for 12 hrs. The service was awful. We were hardly acknowledged when we entered and given a passing wave to sit wherever, and then were less than a priority for the server, especially given how not busy they were. Given the reviews of this place, I expected better but was left feeling disappointed (and sick). ??

Food is really good. Tried vegetarian burrito and wife tired shrimp tacos ?They ran out of veggie crumble which I was looking forward to.Vegetarian options: Veggie crumble tacos or burrito sounds amazing. I wasn’t able to order that.
Got chips & queso, but the chips were kinda stale. Our server was more than happy to replace them though.Ordered few tacos and a burrito. Tacs were really good, burrito was alright. But overall pretty good experience

I try really hard not to leave bad reviews. However I have to warn people about this place. The reviews brought me here with my family and it was really bad. Bland food, service wasn't great (tho she was really busy), hidden fees for credit card, charged for every little thing... $2.50 for salsa, sour cream, extra tortillas I mean for each... Try at your own risk.

I'm not much of a Mexican foodie. Actually came here to try the churro fries and I must say, this is a definite must try. Especially the Ube Churro Fries. I'm not sure if it's authentic cherry as I'm used to the lined shaped crispy type of cherry, if it was meant to be deconstructed or what. It was definitely delicious! Highly recommend. I also Highly recommend the quesedea with pork. That was superb as well!
