This stadium has the best 4th of July fireworks on the island. It hosts every local event of importance concerning the Island of Kaua'i. I have been to concerts after 2 devistating hurricanes at the Stadium. Both Iwa and Iniki! National day of Prayer! Celebrations of all sorts. And of corse sports events for the schools of Kaua'i. It's kind of the heart and soul of Kaua'i. Been around for a long time. Worth mentioning,
Lots of fruits. Papayas are ripe and tasty. Don't buy at the first vendor. Lots of 3 for $5 to be had. Lots if local veggies. Sweet onions are super tasty. One flower vendor who sells out quickly. Not many booths.

Didn't get to see or do much this visit , was just there to line up for the Lights on Rice st Christmas parade . Drove the Habiat for Humanity float with Santa on board great fun for all !!!
