Mother's Day Buffet had lots of options for the whole family. Bread pudding French toast, bacon, green bean salad and lavender lemon tarts were amazing! Staff was friendly and welcoming. They were very comfortable answering the children's questions and we even received a rose on the way out. Mahalo Haliimaile General! Best Mother's Day ever!

Excellent meal. Amazing food: wonderful flavors, local ingredients, noodles had the perfect texture, nice variety on the menu (vegetarian, gluten free, fish, steak). Open kitchen so you can see the chefs cooking; ambiance feels like you are eating in a friend's home. This is our one “must do” every time we visit Maui.

Visited on 5/10/24. We are local and we always like to return here. This experience was awesome; food was delicious, and we particularly liked the bao buns. Frank was attentive, friendly, and informative. I've had hit or miss service in the past, but I'm sure that was because they were short-staffed. None of that was an issue this time. We really do love this place and will continue to return.
My wife and I went at the recommendation of a family member. We had a great time! Being tourists visiting Maui on our honeymoon, we were expecting a packed and noisy restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised by the casual and subdued atmosphere that Haliimaile offers. Our server couldn't have been more welcoming or eager to please. The Mahi Mahi was great, the Ono served on a bed of risotto was amazing! Being first time visitors, our server saw fit to comp our dessert: a decadent portion of pineapple upside down cake. My wife and I were allowed to finish our drinks, have an intimate moment by ourselves on the Lanai as we watched the sun disappear below the horizon. Fantastic experience! If you are lucky enough to visit Maui, please make a reservation. You won't be disappointed.

Sadly just basic and underwhelming food. The famous “crab pizza” has zero presentation and lacks the hype and flavor created by calling it famous. Paniolo ribs were just ok and the coleslaw was not worth eating. Fries were ok. The ono was good but smallish portion leaving one unfulfilled for the price. Service was nice though and took the pizza back and didn't not charge us for that.

Consistently great food and drinks—they use mostly local sources for their spirits, and their cocktails are delicious! The service is wonderful, always prompt, and great recommendations when asked. We return here over and over!

A Gem to dine at. Whether lunch or dinner, as must visit and dine stop while in Maui. Excellent service(ask for Dale, he is a hoot!) great food, great service, and very enjoyable ambiance. Must have dessert is the pineapple upside down cake.

An outstanding birthday experience for my wife Susan. Heather guided us through the menu, reminding us of what we previously had. We opted for the mahi-mahi for Susan and the kalua pork enchilada pie for me. Both incredible. Heather then brought us their famous pineapple upside down cake with ice cream and candle singing HBD to her. I told them after it was spectacular and, believe me it was. Can’t wait to return here.
The food itself was quite good. However, the portion size for the additional fish on the salad was extremely small. Compared to the price. The service could not have been better, we were taken care of both in a appropriate and timely manner. The atmosphere was noisy, but that's somewhat to be expected
