This is a very enjoyable place in upcountry when you have a craving for Mexican food on Maui. The menu has a great variety, food is very good and plentiful for the price. Service was friendly and attentive. It’s a great, local-feeling place that is very welcoming.

At a certain point living on Maui there comes a time when you want Mexican food. However Mexican food ends where Polli's begins. It's sort of like if a bunch of Amish people had a description of Mexican food and created a meal solely based off that. It's just... eh. Service was absolutely great though. Atmosphere was so-so as well. It was like a Hollywood Mexican Saloon with a touch of Gringoness.

Very friendly Mexican pub with good food, super nice service, and it was well attended, which I generally think is a good sign. We really enjoyed it after returning from the Halekala crater and of course it tasted very good too. Gladly again!

Stopped in because someone recommended it. Ordered two crispy beef tacos, and two crispy chicken tacos. The waitress was extremely rude. We have a special-needs son and we wanted to sit down at the table while we’re waiting for to go food. We asked if it was OK and she said not really. Ate the tacos afterwards after leaving the table and we’re sorely disappointed. I would say this is maybe a five out of 10 when it comes to Mexican food. Please go to another restaurant. Rude staff is not OK. Especially when you have someone with special needs. It doesn’t have to be this way. Food was subpar at best.

Polis goes above and beyond to satisfy every customer, place really cares. Plus they have the best chips and salsa on the island. Love this place ??
Stopped in for a quick bite while on a tour. Best margarita I've ever had and the tacos were incredible. The locals and staff were so friendly. If I ever come back to Maui, I'm stopping back in again.
