I grew up eating and loving fish & chips. H. Salt Esquire opened at Ala Moana Center was my first taste of it and I was hooked. I've tried so many different places since and I've only found a couple of places that satisfies my craving. Over the last month, I've seen others recognize Mililani Restaurant. I finally got to try it today and I was blown away! The fish pieces covered the entire plate. The fish was crispy, steaming hot and moist. Their tartar sauce had a slight kick which I like. The chips (fries) looked like they had a slight coating on it which made it very crispy and soft inside. One of two best fries on this island. We also tried their chicken katsu. It wasn't a normal panko crust. I could taste that they take an extra step by marinating the chicken and the coating turns into a light batter before frying. Marinating the chicken makes it come out juicer and flavorful. Portions are very generous and plenty enough for another meal. I'll be back again and again.

Came here for lunch today with my son after shopping around at food land. We tried the fried noodles and chicken Katsu add on. All together with tax was about $16 and some change. Price is average with other plate lunch establishments. I haven't come in here in years and the fried saimin tastes different to me? Maybe it's my palate and age lol but it was bland and the katsu tasted more like fried chicken vs the typical Korean katsu that's breaded in panko. There were hardly any veggies in the fried saimin but I think that's more local style. Overall food was okay but my son enjoyed it. Portion size was big. Service was great. The guy at the counter seemed busy but overall friendly. We came after lunch around 1:00p and it wasn't busy. Lots of tables inside to eat at and we decided to dine in. Will try again but different menu items !

Still good after all these years. Got the roast pork with gravy. Very tasty. Wait want long at all. The only thing I would improve on would be their take out containers. My coworker ordered the katsu and fried noodle combo...he wanted to take home his leftovers for his wife...when he got up from the table and picked up his container...it folded in half and all the noodles fell to the floor it was funny and tragic at the same time.

Ordered orange chicken, mochiko chicken, and teriyaki beef and they were all pretty disgusting. You'd need to be starving or clueless about good food to eat there.

Went there to pick up Fried Rice. I ordered the Char Sui Fried Rice with NO DELETIONS. What I got was A LOT of CHICKEN fried rice with absolutely NO GARNISH. If you look at the picture, OWNERS WOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS? Taste was okay, but it was just LOTS of rice and a lot of chicken. TERRIBLE. Want me to go somewhere else? Okay!

Every thing on the menu tastes delicious. Great source for taking half-pans of various food from starch to meats to parties or pot-lucks.

Located in mililani next to foodland (by Ross & 24 hour fitness). Lots of parking out front. My friends always talk about how good mililani restaurant is, so i decided to try it for myself. When i walked in, there was a bunch of people standing around for their food. I guess i came at rush hour. But i ordered their fried noodles with gau gee. The food came out so quick! We took it home to eat it, and it was yummy! Definitely will be going back there to try other things on their menu. Speaking of their menu they have a variety of things! It was a little overwhelming to look at, but i will definitely prepare myself before i go in again to know what i will be ordering. Inside, it was like your typical take out place. They did have boxes stacked by the chairs to sit on. But it didn't bother me.

Best fried noodle dish around. Brought it to a party and everyone knew where it was from and they all loved it.

We went before closing, so felt a little rushed. Had a mini shoyu chicken with fried rice and extra sauce, which cost 79 cents. It was worth it. It really enhanced the taste of the bland parts of the chicken.

Their selection had been reduced. However their fried saimin is great. They make their own noodles, so it is really chewy. It takes them literally like 10 minutes away the most to make it. The food is a little pricey, but they give a lot.

Thank you Mililani Resturant! You exceeded my expectations yet again. I ordered for my Boatd meeting and everyone loved the food. Many do not live or even frequent Mililani. We had more than enough leftovers for all. Thanks again!
