Great restaurant with a family spirit, we really enjoyed it, the portions are generous. Great discovery!

We all enjoyed our food, and we beat the dinner rush by arriving just after 4:00 on a beautiful Friday afternoon.Dietary restrictions: They can sear fish in a separate pan for gluten-free options. We had two GF eaters, and both were very satisfied with their meals.Parking: There is a free public parking lot about two blocks down the street and limited on-street parking closer.

Best combination of food quality and value you will find in Kihei/South Maui. Blackened mahi mahi with coleslaw gets an A++

The fish tasted very fishy here almost inedible and the cole slaw was dry. The food quality has definitely changed. Very busy - always has been, but that’s a good thing and adds to the overall experience in a fun lively way. Food quality is what is causing the average rating. The one in Kihei was way notably better food quality.

We chose the ahi and asked for raw but it was overcooked. We had 3 waitresses that told us that the next one would help us and the toilets weren’t that clean neither. The reviews were very good for this place but I was really disappointed comparing with other places we visited on Maui. I’m sorry but I cannot recommend this place and I think Paia in general is a bit overrated.

The best tasty fish ? . You're going there for the food only. Need to wait on the line but is moving fast. The most delicious fish!

The shrimp cocktail was pretty basic which is why I’m not giving them 5 stars. I got 6 cooked shrimp with cocktail sauce on the side (I know that’s the American shrimp cocktail but… why stick to that?). The fish tacos were very pretty good and paired well with their home magic sauce. We enjoyed the ahi sashimi, nothing amazing, just fresh and good quality. It did feel a little crowded, we went on a Wednesday around 2pm. It’s a make a line, pay your order and find a seat kind of place. They do have very fresh fish, just wish they were more creative with their preparations.
