The sushi is always very fresh and delicious. The restaurant is artsy and eclectic. The owner is incredibly gracious, and her prices are extremely reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Omg I am so glad my hubby found this spot! The sushi is soooo yummy and FRESH!! I love that they give Romaine with every roll. And don't even get me started on their poke (I'm drooling just thinking about it and I'm so stuffed) it is by the far the BEST poke I've ever had, just melts in your mouth! And the service is very friendly, warm and lots of aloha. They definitely show their love and aloha through every roll!Very quick service!It's such a cute little spot! Very welcoming, comfortable, and intimate.I wish we had time to take pictures but it was just THAT good!Much mahalos and we will definitely be back!

Overall a disappointing experience. I had a craving for fried sushi rolls and my go-to sushi spot is closed on Mondays. I looked up the Damo sushi menu and picked my rolls from a picture of the menu. Only to find out at the register that the prices have risen 20% from the prices pictured on the menu. I paid $33 for 2 rolls and ordered nothing else. That's a very expensive meal for 1! The price shock was the second most disappointing part....there was NO GINGER OR WASABI with my rolls. How can you not include those two crucial pieces?! A sad pile of Romaine lettuce was in my to-go containers, I tried the dressing and liked it, but let the rest go to waste. Miso soup cups also came with it and had 1/4 cup of liquid each. Although the rolls were tasty, the tempura coating was extremely uneven and there was a large dried out piece of tuna on one end. I won't be back unless they can fix some easily fixable issues with their way of doing business.

No place to wash your hands. Can’t believe a restroom isn’t required by law. Staff couldn’t get the order correct and to top it off initially served it to another customer and after they picked it over the staff tried to then serve it to me. Seriously???

Since I was in the area and craving Poke, I decided to drop by Damo Sushi. I didn't expect to walk into a cosy looking place. Heck it felt like I was visiting someone's home. They had 25% off poke bowls, salad, and nachos. So I decided to get some Spicy Ahi Nachos and green tea. The bill came out to $16. The poke nachos tasted pretty good. It is a pity that the nori used tasted a little on the chewy side instead of being crispy. I experience friendly customer service and I got my food ASAP.Not a bad place to check out.
