Love their ice cream and service. Halo halo was pretty delish as well. Location sucks since it's a mile away and too easily accessible. It's a battle driving past it daily on my way home from work.

This review has nothing to do with Dave's Ice Cream, a matter a fact our family enjoys their ice cream. Their product is very delicious! I am doing this review for a family member who experienced a very dreadful encounter at the Kapolei Market Place Shopping Center with one of Dave's Ice Cream delivery van. My family member is disabled and utilizes the Handicap Parking stalls. Regardless of anyone's capability, the Handicap stalls are used for people who are disabled or simply needs assistance in getting a closer parking to accommodate his or her needs. For some unforeseen reason the deliver driver and his helper decided to park in the access aisle and leaving no room to park on both sides of the van. With that said, my family member found an empty Handicap Parking stall and was late for an appointment. I took it upon my self to contact the management office and ask if the Handicap Stalls were reserved for delivery access only and I was told that it was not. I also stated the law regarding the use of a Handicap Stall and what you can and can not do. I also questioned the businesses in that particular area to find out where the delivery was made to. To protect that business I will not mention the business name. I was told that there was 2 men doing the delivery, 1 Caucasian heavy set male (who is the delivery person) and 1 Filipino male (who's name is Daniel). I called the Aiea store to find out who they were and was told that Daniel is the Operations Manager of Dave's Ice Cream Factory. All I could do was shake my head in awe. Being in the management field, I was up hauled on the decision making of this person. My family member wanted me to mention that he called the main office and was very happy with the customer service that he received and wanted me to especially point her out because she was very caring, apologetic and she made a follow up call to make sure that my family member had found parking and to make sure that everything was well and asked if any further assistant was needed. Not one time did she make any excuses or denied the fact of what was happening. I did make a follow up call to personally thank her Again, nothing but sincerity and and genuine concern. She is the unparalleled reason why we will continue to give our business to them. Thank you Karlene (not sure if that's the correct spelling) for your excellent customer service and genuineness. This is the kind of person you want running your business. I'm hoping she reads this because I know of several companies that I personally reached out to and they would like to make you an offer that will be hard to refuse! Thank you again!
