Ya I couldn't check in cause the pin location is in Ewa... Had the Bibim Noodles which you could get mild or spicy as I was craving some cold noodles and this was their only option. Priced at $13.95 which is pretty decent so I decided to give them a try. Elim is located in HMart Pearl City Market Eatery Food Hall and I do love this location though not as large as the town location it still provides all that you need including restrooms and the seating area is spacious and clean which does make it a great rest stop as well. The staff here is great as he asked if I've been here before which I haven't and roughly gone through the menu including the popular items is always a great service to give some insight. The Bibim Noodles was nice and but mild still had some kick to it just a bit of caution for my sensitive folks as it still had some heat, the noodles are thin like somen and I did love the daikon as it was pickled the thin sliced cucumbers though the two types of cabbage was too much dryness for me and wished one was lettuce instead. Noodles sticked together making it impossible to toss with the veggies and though it was beautiful vibrant dish the choices of veggies fell short for me. Thank you!

This gem is located in Pearl City H Mart in the food court. After some shopping with my hubby, we decided that we wanted to try the new food places in H Mart. And let me tell you this place was worth it in my books. When we approached the cashier, he was so helpful in recommending several dishes if we didn't know what to order. He also was so patient in us deciding and always willing to answers our questions about dishes. Once we decided, he took our order and gave us our number to lookout when our food was ready. As for the area, there were many tables available to sit at. I felt it did not take too long for our food to be prepared. Here's our order (my hubby and I shared): Spicy pork- not too spicy (awesome, I can't do too much spice), I loved the addition of the salad and vegetables in the spicy pork mixture. The pork was soft and tender. Cheese Tteokbokki- by far my favorite. The rice cake was soft and bouncy. The spice and cheese paired so nicely it was an addicting bite. I would order this again Although the price might seem a lot, I believe it's still worth it. If you're ever at H Mart Pearl city, check them out!

This place is located in Hmart, Pearl City location. Food pics on the wall looked good so I ordered the Kim Chee Fried Rice for me and the Meat Jun for my husband. The Meat Jun was $16.95. It was good like other places but pricey for the amount of Meat Jun they gave. When you go to other Korean places, you'd get more Meat Jun with 4 choices of banchan with rice or 5 banchan and no rice for the same price. As for the Kim Chee Fried Rice that's $13.95, there was hardly any taste and too spicy compared to ones I've eaten at Taiyo, Big City Diner, etc. so I had a hard time eating it...was disappointed.

I love that the idea of a grocery store + food court is hitting Hawaii, it just makes so much sense! Okay, I know Costco has been around for a long time, but that's just a few items and it's barely a "food court." Grocery stores in Asia offer so much more! Also, I would hardly call Elim a snack bar, so don't come here expecting small Korean snacks; expect a good, full meal, just right to satisfy your Korean food craving. Elim offers some well-known Korean dishes from Tteokbokki to Kimchi Pancake to Bibimbap. Also, did you know Meat Jun is not Korean? My friend's parents, who grew up in Korea and immigrated to Washington in their 30s (if I remember correctly), visited Hawaii and when we talked about meat jun, they were so confused. Side note...Anyways, if you're a beginner in Korean food (like me) this is a great place to start; you'll find something you'll like that you already know about or something you've been wanting to try. I come here on my lunch break sometimes so my biggest concern is how long my order will take. I tried to call in ahead, but no one answered so that shortens my lunch hour, but luckily it didn't take too long. I am taking one star off for the fact that I can't call ahead, and because of the lack of consistency. I've seen many different people behind the counter and in the kitchen and service and food can be different. Sometimes they'll ask whether I'm eating in or taking out, which I usually try to eat in to save plastics, but other times they just assumed and I was sitting in the food court with a plastic bowl and bag. Sometimes the cheese tteokbokki is so spicy I drink a lot of water, while my most recent time was just right, not to spicy but not too bland. Also, if I'm being honest the Korean ramen could use some elevation. Overall, I still come here because the food tastes good, but honestly for what I pay am I expecting too much? Or I hope they start offering plate lunches or combos because just eating JUST a kimchi pancake for lunch isn't fun. I wish there was some banchan offered on the side too.

Presentation and plating is awesome. Ambiance and background does not feel like a food court but we were there towards closing. Of course, you'll still have to pick up and clean up after yourself. Looks and feels pretty. I have tried the jjangjangmyeon and teokbokki before but the taste is much better now compared to when they first opened. Must have especially the next good black noodles is in town.

Love the food they serve. Though only went there three times. Threw me off when you have a local islander at the counter. She's very friendly and knows the dishes. She even recommends and knows how the food tastes. Their area is clean and kept tidy. Definitely recommended.

My wife & I have been shopping at the Pearl City Hmart since it opened last year but we'e never tried the restaurants in the food court.Today we did. We selected Elim Korean Restaurant and were very pleasantly surprised! The Korean ramen & udon dishes we had were excellent!!The Elim cashier/server was very friendly & checked with us while we were dining & after we'd finished to make sure everything was O.K.! Wow! Excellent service we're not used to getting here in Hawaii!!The food court was very clean as well. We'll definitely be back!!!I highly recommend!

First time here while shopping in H Mart. Ordered the Jajangmyeon and it was pretty tasty. Portion wise it was packed with noodles and the sauce was pretty good that it's not over powering. Also ordered a side order of mandoo which I like they give you a choice between boiled or pan fried. I opted for pan fried which didn't get to take a pic of it. Wish there were 5 pieces instead of 4 for the price. Otherwise it had the pan fried crunchiness on the outside and inside was moist and light.Need to try others things on the menu, but not bad for a first time that makes me want to come back again.

One of the restaurants in the Hmart food court. All eateries were busy and the seating was limited. Elim was pretty slow. It took 27 minutes from placing my order(4 people ahead of me) to getting it from the counter. The space is limited and signs everywhere instructing you where to return your tray. Food was hot, tasty, and cheap. Noodles was too over cooked for me but bearable.I do love that they have an automated speaker that tells you what restaurant and order number is currently ready for pickup. Also love the $5 mandoo addition to menu orders!

Fresh ingredients!! Very healthy and flavorful. Perfect portion for 1-2 people. Don't have the picture but their tteokbokki is also very good. The sauce is better than other local Korean places in my opinion. Will visit more often for quality Korean food!

The place was small, clean and comfy. The staff was friendly and the order was quick. The food was delicious. I would order this again, but I would also like to try the other dishes.

Elim is one of the spots in the Pearl City H-Mart food court. I stopped by and got the kimchee fried rice. It was good and the portion was so large! I wish they gave maybe one more egg (or I'll try to see if I can add it on next time) because there was just way too much rice for the one egg. Service was friendly and the food came out pretty fast! Great for a quick meal.
